Is Obama the most disingenuous POTUS ever ?

In light of the many issues at hand, the way they are handled, along with his Chicago style politics, is he the the most disingenuous POTUS ever?

When he gets caught lying, he then tries to convince people he said something different. As if:
a) we are too stupid to remember and
b) what he said wasn't recorded.

Every cabinet member of his sooner or later has to fall on the sword for him in order to protect him from the endless scandals. You can blame the press for this mess too. They refused to hold him accountable and now look how bad it has gotten. The guy feels no obligation to the constitution or its citizens. I honestly hate the press now. Those bastards allowed our country to sink into this corruption. Good job dickheads.

This isn't just a problem with Obama. This is the problem with progressivism on the whole. The ideology requires a constant state of lying in order to sell the mirage. The promise the sun and the stars, but they forget to tell you that you have to give up the ground you're standing on to get them. It's an ugly ideology but it's easy to sell because all they have to do is offer free stuff and lie about who pays for it.

Jon Stewart says conservatism is easy, but that's a lie too. It's never easy to be the party who has to tell the people the economic truth that there is no such thing as a free lunch, and that the people that will always pay in any scheme will be the middle class.

You would have to be stupid to be a member of the middle class and vote for Democrats.
Excellent post.

After Reagan, it seems like each president since wins that category. "Read my lips" and the "Era of big govt is over" and no tax promise by Clinton too; a "humble foreign policy."

So currently, it is Obama as he's up the ante.

Let's not forget though, that FDR was a lying sack of you know what too. Wilson too. Lefties-socialist, communists and fascists alike rely on this trait because they can't win otherwise. Sure this exists to some degree in all politicians (and many individuals by degrees in their own lives) but the left are masters of the "The Noble Lie." Particularly communists--the worst of the lot.

I would say that is semi- recent history meaning (I was alive at the time) LBJ probably was the dirtiest guy to hold office. To be fair it really isn’t a Republican Democratic thing in that Jimmy while woefully ineffective, was probably the most honest President in my lifetime. The others fall someplace in between.

If you were to try and list LBJ to Obama by deceitfulness it really isn’t that easy of a task and made harder by ones political leanings.

I think Carter and Reagan were two of the more honest presidents.

Yeah, Obama and his posse of Dems continually lied that Obamacare was not a TAX. Some Rs claimed it was. But then the legal team of Obamacare argued near the end of the case being heard it was indeed a tax--which is what the progs on the court called it.

So just as Rs can't promise that "free" lunch the Democrats have to promise it as "free" effectively by not saying it's a tax. It would have NEVER passed being called a tax and the Democrats knew it.

Not just lying but a complete "bait and switch" type of fraud.

Obama: "The ACA act will lower costs"
Rational Person: How does that work?

Obama: "Adding millions of illegals to the job market will create jobs!"
Rational Person: How does that work?

I'm not sure if the guy is that dumb or if he's that disingenuous or a mixer of the both. I'd guess the latter of the three. The best thing he could do for the country is nothing. Play golf for the next three years you sorry piece of shit.

So you think the politicians who you agree with and those you kinda agree with are honest when it comes to selling their ideas?

Why do you think that?

I think the ones you like might get more support if they tried to be honest and straightforward and not always trying to follow orders regarding messaging talking points.

You are getting a lot of credit around here for saying that your guys never tell a lie.

I have seen Ted Cruz and Rand Paul speak lately and both tell lies.
