Peyton Manning says he will have MRI on Monday

Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will have an MRI Monday after being hit in the right knee area late in Sunday’s win vs. San Diego, he told the media after the game, according to the Broncos’ official Twitter feed.

“I’m pretty sore. They kind of got me twice in that lower area…get an MRI tomorrow and will know more then,” Manning said, according to the Broncos.

Manning was limping after being hit by Chargers defensive end Corey Liuget on a pass play in the final two minutes of regulation. Manning was attended to by the Broncos’ medical staff, but he stayed in the game.

When we beat Denver next Sunday the accumulated filth of the bandwagoning from the media will foam up about their waists and they'll look up and shout "Save us!"... and the Chiefs defense will look down and whisper "No."

Even with Manning's upcoming MRI the media and fans are so cocky out here that Manning will blow our doors off and no way Chiefs D can stay up with Manning. But they can IF we get our running game going, consistent heavy pass rush with timely blitzes when needed, 2ndary going man to man all game and our red zone offense scoring TDs the majority of the time.

Is that asking too much "on the road" against Manning ??

Post of the year material. Seriously the best commentary offered on anything related to the Chiefs all year. Or at least tied with one comment I read about the Chiefs D:

"They're mean. They're nasty. And they hate everything to do with Christmas."

I ****ing despise manning, the pandering he gets from the nfl and the sports media, and the ****ing whining after every play for penalties and shit. The game is worse due to him.

I don't want Manning out for good. But if he has to rest for three weeks it'd be nice. Let them lose both games to you guys and to my Pats in between (assuring neither team has to play a postseason game in thin air).

Don't know what he is worried about next week. We all know the refs are going to call roughing the passer every single time we sack his ass.
