Greg Bannon takes lead over Kay Hagan in N.C.

Looks like Obamacare might deliver at least one tea party senator in 2014.

Democrat, Kay Hagan, has seen her lead there evaporate, and now she's trailing the tea party challenger, Greg Brannon there.

Though, the news establishment is trying to do all it can to minimize the fact that Brannon has pulled out in front. If you watch the way it's being covered, they prioritize the establishment candidates who have pulled within shooting distance, and virtually ignore that Brannon pulled out in front.

Here's the press release:
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/p...se_NC_1112.pdf

And here is how Politico covers it:
http://www.politico.com/story/2013/1...oll-99731.html

So while they're telling you "it's close," the real story is that the tea party candidate has captured the lead over the lot of them, despite the news about how evil and rotten tea partiers are.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz believes Republicans will suffer politically in 2014 for their opposition to Obamacare.

The Florida Democrat was responding to Karl Rove during an interview on MSNBC Tuesday after the former senior adviser to President George W. Bush mocked her for saying that Democrats should embrace the health care reform bill during their re-election campaigns.

“Heck, yeah, I’m going to make sure that we run on that all across the country next year,” Wasserman Schultz said after listing what she believes to be Obamacare’s benefits for Americans.

To be fair, Cuccinelli was a much inferior candidate. He was actively being investigated for corruption connected with the Star Scientific issue with Governor McDonnell and also had taken some nutso positions on decreasing the availability of Divorce and Birth Control.

The media should be crediting those differences but doesn't appear to be.

OK. We need to find a place where your point fits. Clearly Chris isn't the only one around here who has random thoughts and expresses them.

I think he's acknowledging the bias in the way the media is covering Brannon passing Hagen, or more aptly, NOT covering it.

If you don't understand how the Cuccinelli thing is related to Hagan and the media slant, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

Yes, that wasn't so hard was it?

I thought at the time of the Cuccinelli "SEE HOW MUCH DAMAGE THE TEA PARTY HAS WROUGHT" Media stories, that they were overplaying their hand quite a bit, and this story confirms that slant.
