I think it's sort of funny.

* During last year's meltdown against the Colts in the post season, it looked like the injuries slider was turned up to 100% and they were carting bodies off the field like they were filming B-roll for "The Strain".

* Brodie Croyle (!) is the only quarterback drafted by the team to start a game for them since the mid-80's...and he barely beat out Damon Huard in the process. Croyle then promptly lost all six of his starts. He couldn't even beat out Tyler Thigpen once he returned from injury.

This. Was waiting for something to bring it home, but the slap was sort of anticlimactic. Would have loved to have seen a twitpic of them both handcuffed in the back of a squad car. Not that I think they did anything legally wrong, but why not throw in one more over-reacting person to the mix and make him a cop?

I loved the social experience of watching which people would think that was the most amazingly funny thing ever.

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Wait so it is a dude named Elan? Ouch. That is right there with "Sue". His name must be fitting if he was afraid of an irrational chick.
