Question for conservatives on this forum

Do you like the new pope?

And/or

What do you think of the new pope?

I would go into Pitt Gorilla's thread and look, but this is an easier way to satisfy my curiosity in answer to the question.

You could swap out "evidence" with "documentation" to allow a broader discussion.

Don't waste my time with answers to questions not asked or non-answers to questions asked.

Don't waste my time asking questions that you don't really want answers to.

That is true. The PR strategy of paying people to convert, then threatening to kill if they didn't convert, worked for a good long time.
But then, maybe the best PR/marketing move ever was unleashed: Santa
Game over, man.

Other than the Bible itself, what is the evidence? Do writings about him at the time of his birth and during his life exist? Have they been authenticated? Surely something had to have been written during his lifetime, as he seemed to be in the news a lot.

It was a very different era. We take everyday literacy for granted and yet the major ancient religions were passed on by word of mouth to a huge degree.

Goose, gander.

In Christianity's favor, all are called and all who believe are forgiven.

Very often, Jews take the 'chosen people' thing to heart. They think we're all relegated to a lesser eternity than they, they just don't evangelize because there is no hope for us by dint of birth.
