Jesse Jackson takes on Duck Dynasty. Surprised?

What took Jesse so long?

Interesting how that never got out in the Mainstream Marxist Media except through conservative channels. Can you imagine if a Conservative would have been caught on tape saying, "Minorities just cling to their bling and crack pipes on our tax dime". He/She would be ROASTED !!

I'd say the comment you're referencing is the opposite of wrapping one's self in flag and religion...which was the apparent original assertion.

He said he was a Christian when people asked if he was Muslim. And I don't really recall any "touting" of Rev Wright.

Geez--is this really a debate? Whether Obama of all people tried to make religion an issue?

same =! actually draped self in religion and flag
same == used superficial identity politics to gloss over details of governance.

Make religion an issue?? No. But he wrapped himself up in Christianity all along the way when put on the spot and it's clear based on his actions since being POTUS he is anything BUT IMO. He plays the Marxist game of deception. There is very little truth about this guy other than he is committed to bringing down America.

He attended his church for years. That is a pretty strong endorsement. He only distanced himself from the guy when his asshead preaching made mainstream news. Pretty hard sell that he didn't tout or endorse the guy~

It has been said, and you're right, the roastings follow. I predict it'll get worse before it gets better. I hope I'm wrong, but when there's stark contrast and division, and little to no substantive discussion, bad things happen.

One of the positive things about this board is that there's more honesty here that most other places you can "go".

You know how I know you don't watch Jon Stewart?

Google what he thinks about the Duck Dynasty thing.

I found him hilarious before The Daily Show. Hell, prior to it, I didn't know his political leanings. That was just icing on the cake.

Evidently you don't know. I've watched the Daily show many, many times...and sometimes Stewart even surprises me...I didn't see his take on the DD thing but my remarks have nothing to do with his opinion of that topic...just that his popularity skyrocketed once he started his left leaning show. Everyone has an angle.

Previously he wasn't a household name; now he is...just like Duck Dynasty...which I watched a couple of times and never understood the popularity.
