Poll: Big gain for Republican Party

Thanks to the Dem's for the gotta have it Obamacare, they now see their own political party sinking faster then the U.S.S. Arizona on the fateful day in 1941.

Poll: Big gain for Republican Party

Democrats are on the losing end of a 13-point swing in the polls since October, resulting in an early lead for the GOP heading into 2014, according to a new poll on the midterm elections released Thursday.

The CNN/ORC International survey shows Republicans holding a 49 percent to 44 percent lead over Democrats, a swift reversal from just two months ago, when the Democratic Party stood steady with an 8-point lead over the GOP, 50 percent to 42 percent.
In the generic ballot test, the poll asked respondents whether they would vote for a Democrat or Republican in their congressional district, without providing any specific names.

The survey follows a tumultuous few months for Democrats, who have been hurt by the rocky rollout of the health insurance exchanges created by the Affordable Care Act. Nancy Pelosi and Andy Reid leaders in the House ans Senator rammed in through underhanded and devious ways to get the Bill signed at any cost. Scoffing at Republicans that requested to read through the over hundreds of pages that no one understood or could explain.

The new numbers will very likely concern congressional Democrats, but CNN Polling Director Keating Holland cautions against making any early predictions on the 2014 elections based on the new poll results.

“Its best if the democrats hide in a bunker until the shelling called Obamacare stops, right now its relentless and furious, constantly under attack,” Holland said. “A year before the 2010 midterms, for example, the Democrats held a 6-point lead on the generic ballot, but the GOP wound up regaining control of the House in that election cycle, thanks to an historic 63-seat pickup.”

You know you're ****ed. The public hadnt even been hit with the new rates, trying to use it, and a whole new wave of cancelations will be going out again.

You wont be anle to exempt your way out of this disaster forever. If its as good as the dems claim, then why does every business, every union, and now old "shit" plans get exempted?

Reason is you ****s had no idea what was in this piece of shit, and only voted how the admin told you to. Now your rosters are coming home to roost.

I love when they say 1 million ppl have signed up. I wonder how many of them got medicare. I bet the number is a majority of those 1 million

Obama caved to the GOP. So I blame him for this shitstorm. You can stick your head in the sand all you want. The GOP played a large part in this being the abortion that it is. I just choose to blame the pussy who caved to make something happen instead of patiently doing it the right way. I predicted this the instant he took the single payer model off the board. If he hadn't caved it could've worked. He did and his whole party will rightfully suffer because of it. That doesn't leave the GOP with halos over their heads.

Thats almost as good as "its Bushs fault".

Selling the failure of ObamaCare because the Republicans who did not have one vote for it forced Obama to do something will be a winner.

You can hear what you want to hear all day long. I was pretty clear in my explanation. Anyone who doesn't suck the dicks of one parties leadership will easily pick up what I'm laying down. The Dems are going to get what is rightfully coming to them. Isn't that enough to make you happy?

You're absolutely right. This has been a mess. However, it is in it's infancy. More than likely it will need some adjustments as it's a major plan. I don't know if it's going to end up being the colossal failure that everyone claims, because the ones who are saying it have been saying it all along.

To claim that it's going to be a giant disaster when it's implemented because the web roll out isn't going as planned doesn't make a lot of sense to me. The IT problem has nothing to do with the law.

He got zero GOP votes. That's pretty definitive evidence that your "caved to the GOP" angle is false. He caved to democrats who weren't willing to support a government option.

The only credit the GOP deserves in this cluster**** is their determination to illuminate every wart and lesion they could find in Obamacare instead of helping to sell it and fix the flaws. That's the price you pay when you try to govern unilaterally.

Threads like this always turn into more negative ugly talk about progressives and Obama and degrade the overall quality of cp. We need to devote more time to intellectual journeys and away from current events.

I'll have to to revisit my thoughts on this. I'm man enough to admit when I am wrong. 0 votes would indicate that I'm wrong. That said, I blamed the democrats on this in the first place. This was guaranteed to happen when the single payer model came off the board.

No, they timed it this way so they would have plenty of time between the ACA roll out and the next major elections.

Oh, and as already said, GOP and DEM's both stink.

It is a sad state of affairs when the only credit that can be claimed is by thwarting progress.

Nothing about ACA can be deemed progress.

I disagree. The fundamental concept underneath is progress. The one sided bull rush to accomplish anything is what ****ed it. That being said, I'm not convinced it's ****ed. It will go into law and then there will be a choice to fix it or repeal it. Once it's going, it's going to be hard to repeal.
