Look at Obama FFS.

Many in this forum including many Repubs have yet to figure out that it is social conservative Judeo/Christian values that are the strength of this country and what made it GREAT !! Yes, The American Family which is the backbone/sacred fabric to this great civilization of ours. Hell, Marx knew this and his minions of today know this and continually attack everyday with anti-American propaganda. Because as Marx said if you want to tear down a free society, attack God and the family. What do you see today going on in our country and all it's problems? It all can be traced to the breakdown of the Judeo/Christian family in this country in the last 50yrs. Mock and make fun of social conservatives and attack their value system and buy into all the anti-American social conservative propaganda all you want but 'you cut your own throat' doing it and you get what we have today in our country. And the sad part is you don't even see it. Many of you don't see that it is because of these social conservative values that have provided your many comforts in this American life. Or if you do acknowledge this but think you don't need this focus on conservative values anymore you are a fool for thinking so. Not only all the fiscal, social and FP ills you see but you also get a manipulated, ginned up political system that is "On The Take" NOT for "We The People" but for "ME THE POLITICIAN" that is drunk on $$ and POWER(Marxist Dems/RINOs) and thus you get NO REAL CANDIDATES FOR POSITIVE CHANGE because they are SHUT OUT because many have bought into the RWNJ Social Conservatives so-called label that the Alinskyizing Press attacks everyday making sure you feel as a voter that these people are so called dangerous, unstable and just not good for our society. Tell me what have the Marxist Dems/RINOs contributed that improves our society as whole that is far and away much better than what has proven time and time again by Conservatives that work these last 50yrs ??? Yep !! That's right !! NOTHING !! It's only gotten worse for our society as we as country continue to stray into Liberalistic society more and more everyday

In principle I can agree with you to a point. But then we go way divergent.

The republican party is dead as a mackerel if it moves to a total platform of social issues, many that really don't amount to spit. If we would learn to stop living on issues that divide people and seek to find strong meaningful issues that bring people together we can win every time.

But I will say it is very entertaining to watch him continuously tell the Marxist Dems and the Pravada Press in your state of NJ to " and get in line". But he IS definitely a RINO at the end of the day when it all shakes out which is not good when we are talking about getting real change done in this country. He is for open borders and will not repeal Barry care but rather just superficially tweak it which in the end still keeps the cancerous tumor around in remission only for potential malignancy to occur in the future.
Don't kid yourself. I don't care who gets elected government health care ain't going away. They will tweak it and rebrand it but they will not give up the power it provides~

Republicans got their own idea implemented, and they get to blame all of its problems on the other party. Why would they ever get rid of that situation?

I like Christie, I think hes done good for the state of NJ (I live here). I think the good he has done far out weighs the petty bs the dems are crying about now because they see him as a threat.
You just acknowledged how the Rs have shunned him over the crime of not being a dick to the president.

Also, "the crying" isn't petty. The screwing with the traffic was petty.

Also, your avatar.

Wait until he has to run nationally and has to appeal to the far right nuttery. You'll be seeing plenty of BS.

His biggest problem is his position; he's a Republican who works with Democrats. That means Democrats won't like him because he's a Republican, and Republicans won't like him because he works with Democrats. Of course, we need Republicans who will work with Democrats, so hopefully for him his campaign staff can get that message across, and voters won't be too stupid to realize it.

Another problem he has is that he's a big personality, and has a no-BS attitude that people admire, but so far people don't know his actual policies very much. He'll have to get those out there too.

I find this whole Fort Lee thing to be, well, water under the bridge. (Sorry.) I think it was his cronies who did stupid things, and he took care of business once he found out, and it's done. I actually may even like him more for his decisive and penitent response. Naturally, Beltway media types sense blood in the water are trying to turn it into Abscam, but it will ultimately fade away, except maybe for some late-night comedian monologue fodder.

It is no different than the patriot act. The left scorned it proclaimed it as evil and sure as hell kept the power it affords. Wake up and quit being a blind follower~
