Unfortunately, people are going to die in Sochi

There are so many holes in their "Ring of Steel". They think they got this but its so pathetically below first class security for international events that Americans are hiring and bringing private security firms to get them out when the shit hits the fan.

One of the "black widows" (Widows of Muslim men killed by Russia) with access to explosives has been confirmed as already being in Sochi.

Putin is too arrogant to ask for help.

Some on here just can't wait to turn every single thing into a partisan BS attack on the other side. This is why you can't get new people to come in here for the discussion.
Can you imagine if the Olympics were here in the US and we brought in a bunch of Russians to help handle security? I can't either. So why the hell would the Russians do the opposite?

An ironic statement, seeing as how you created this thread to make a petty attack on Putin, who you perceive to be on the other political side from you.

Wow, how funny is it that BRC is so proud of himself that he has his little "My open mided positions" list somewhere so he can copy and paste it?

Sheesh.

I don't really get why this particular thread created such a backlash against BRC.

It wasn't the thread, it was the post where a long-standing Obama sycophant made a post calling other people partisan hacks.

I can't be bothered to find it, but I seem to remember a BRC thread from back in the day where he had some sort of religious experience at an Obama rally. I don't think he's been deprogrammed yet.

Thats just the way this forum is currently. Partisan pile ons. No debate on the issues.

I'm taking a vacation from the DC forum. I told several people this last night. I'm just posting this today to let the partisan hacks know I'm not leaving because of a pile on. I've been here for 14 years. I've been piled on numerous times. I'm a big boy, I can handle it. Thats not the reason.

The DC forum is useless. There is no debate or exchange of ideas and positions.

You've used RWNJ right in this thread to describe a wide swath of people, you phony. Exactly how is that moving conversation forward in a positive fashion?

Or are you under the impression that repeating that you're more open minded over and over is somehow valuable discussion?

Either way, hooray for you.
