Oh My LMAO...Michelle Asking For People To "Chip In" $10 To Save Obamacare!

First lady Michelle Obama is seeking $10 donations to protect Obamacare, her husband's troubled health insurance system

Just one day before he gives the annual State of the Union address, the first lady sent out a fundraising email to supporters hoping to use the speech to prompt donations to help Democrats in the midterm elections this fall.

Friend —

Earlier this month, because of what you did, it became illegal for insurance companies to discriminate against the up to 129 million Americans living with pre-existing conditions. Young Americans are able to stay on their parents' health care plans as they get on their feet, and we can now know that our insurance companies won't put lifetime caps on our coverage.

You should be so proud of that. That happened because you organized, you talked to your friends and neighbors, and you chipped in what you could, when you could, to elect Barack and a Congress who supported his agenda.

Today, I'm asking you to do it again.

So before Barack gives his State of the Union address tomorrow, chip in $10 or more and help protect Obamacare:

https://my.democrats.org/State-of-the-Union

Thank you so much,

Michelle

Have there ever been a bigger pair of clowns running the country? I guess praying for Obamacare at Thanksgiving dinner didn't help enough.

And there we go. Cosmo with the "They did it too" defense.

And by the way, where is the link to this Cosmo? You know you don't let anyone else slide without a link to a source.

I didn't know I was defending anyone.
Yes, believe it or not, Team George W. Bush solicited campaign donations.
You really need a link for confirmation of that? Do you also need a link to confirm a guy named George W Bush was president?

I realize that most normal people accept people at their word about the obvious. But you never do. I've seen you hound people for a source about some pretty ridiculous shit, so turnabout is fair play and all that.

And how could this be a campaign donation? Is Obama running for office?

So it's not exactly the same thing, but let's go ahead and try to make this about Bush.

Yesterday on my way home from work, I saw someone standing in the median of the boulevard I drive home on, dressed up like the Statue of Liberty, dancing around with this arrow-shaped sign that said "Obamacare signup". It had the "O" logo and everything on it.

I don't know what the shop in that strip-mall is, maybe an insurance office or something, but I thought that was the perfect metaphor for all this. Someone is standing in the road spinning a sign around while texting on their phone with their other hand and looking bored, in the same way as pawnbrokers and payday loan places and "cash4gold" advertise on the side of the road.

It's okay for a politicians wife to ask for donations but if a church does it's a scam. I think Michelle/Barack should be taxed on these.

Are you sure it wasn't the Liberty tax service promoting their business? This time of year they are making a spectacle of themselves dressed in the same costume. I don't think they should allow those types and pan handlers on the street corners disturbing traffic myself.

and I'd bet that 95% of their customers don't need to file anything other than a standard 1040.

Other than Jacqueline none of the First Ladies could have been picked for their good looks. Ladybird wore low cut tops and had big boobs so that helps. Probably more than a few handfuls of men that wouldn't have kicked Nancy out of bed.

Laura Bush was and still is very attractive. More than just looks, she comes across and very genuine as did Barbara. Michelle comes across like the loud college bitch that everyone hated in the dorm.
