Have you ever changed an opinion?

In reading in this forum, have you ever changed an opinion on any topic as a result of your own conversations or by observing the ones that go on here?

I don't think there is really a right or wrong answer, but I am just curious how many people have had a change in the way they think about or view any of the topics discussed.

The poll is a simply yes or no, so feel free to elaborate on the number of times this may have happened and the subjects that it happened with if you so choose.

I'm afraid you're in the wrong place my friend. I originally came for that, and still do, but the bullshit to rational discussion ratio is heavily tilted in the wrong direction.

I haven't ever claimed middle. That's your b.s. claim.

If I had to attach anything to me, it would me pro-union republican of yesteryear . But they have all but died out thanks to confederate southern republicans take over of the party.

And if my views are so fringe you shouldn't have a hard time articulating why, I would think? Instead you just derp and potato your posts with nothing of substance.

When I first joined, my little message next to my avatar was "A Liberal". It was that way for quite a few years.

But frankly I've moved more to the middle over the years so it wasn't really appropriate. More, other folks on the board were clearly far more liberal than I was, so it didn't seem accurate to keep that description.

Loneiguana is closer to orange than jensen. orange was a total d-bag, too. Not that jensen wasn't but he could make a joke from time to time that made you think he wasn't a total waste. I doubt either orange or loneiguana has any friends at all.

Yep, I know that's one nickname for it. Civil War seems pretty accurate and not even particularly slanted toward one side or the other. If the South had won, of course, it would've been the Second American Revolution, or the Glorious Southern Secession War or something.

But they lost, and so none of those work. And they want to blame the North for the ass-kicking they got, and so they're left with a pretty limp wristed "it was their fault" kind of moniker for it. Sure, fine, whatever.

So, you can post non logical fallacies, hmm. Unfortunately, is just pure stupidity of name callings.

Maybe one day you'll learn what every Rhetorical student since Plato has been taught when it comes to logical fallacies and name calling.

I won't hold me breath and am sure you won't disappoint to entertain me later with another non nonsensical post or logical fallacy post.

It's not a fallacy that you're unlikable.

But you keep trying.
