Actually, I am all in favor of partisanship and bias in media. I just want the media companies to be upfront about it so the consumer can choose whom to trust.

When somebody tells me they are non-partisan then I know that they are trying to conceal something from me.

You obviously did not watch the video. It actually has nothing to do with media partisanship.

It's about open primaries. I can see the surface appeal, but there's so much space for mischief-making

I think there is a good point in this though that if the parties receive tax payer $'s then they cannot in turn restrict who can and cannot vote in their primaries. You can't say on one hand you are a private club and therefore subject to your own rules as you make them but on the other hand receive tax payer $'s.

I understand everyone has positions on things (I am on the fence about very little, but what I believe in simply does not line up at all with either party) but this system is totally rigged to keep my voice silent.

They tell you to just pick one of the two teams and blindly cheer for them.

I agree but then again I am of the opinion that the government should fund very very little.

If the parties want to dictate their own rules and who can participate in their primaries then they should not receive any tax payer $'s, period. It's really that simple.

About a minute of it.

I'd agree that the process of picking a party nominee should be up to the party and be the party's responsibility.
