Obamacare passed the bill with shady dealings going on in with sublime threats to those who won't play ball. Obama muttered "the devils in the deal" as he signed the bill.

Fair enough. "Attacking" may have been a poor word choice.

Still not really his fault that the website is a complete dumpster fire.

Since when does making sense have anything to do with a discussion around here? Really, It was 65% tongue in cheek but, really if the healthcare system continues down its cluster fornication path, one group will get the lion’s share of the blame and the other will be seen as the possible solution. As much as people dislike the Government Insurance companies might be worse.

At this time we have a game being played between Big Government and Big insurance. Big insurance is by no means a defenseless opponent but Big Gove makes up the rules of the game and can decide to change them anytime they choose. Generally the solution to a Government program that is not meeting expectations is more money and more oversight. They could very well screw up the health system that they are seen as the only ones that can fix it. Or maybe I’m just a little cynical today.

The threats came from the republican side to never break ranks. Olympia Snowe found that out the hard way.

No he hasn't. That shit is still broken. Here's what the Gov is doing...they are literally taking the web forms and processing them manually on the backend.

Roughly 85%-90% of people who signed up have been paying for it. So, that line of attack isn't really going to work.

At this point I think we should remind everyone that Obamacare was created by the Heritage Foundation, and touted as "the conservative alternative to Clintoncare". In contrast with most government health plans in Europe, its a more right-wing program that tries to help people purchase insurance from private health insurance companies, liberals have never really liked it except as better than the alternative.

Its going to pretty much work, its eventually going to become popular and un-repealable, and the GOP should have gotten a lot of the credit for it, except they turned completely retarded over their irrational Obama-hate.

Does anyone have any figures for how many millions of people have signed up who previously didn't have health insurance? That was the selling point of it, right?
