Jensen we need you. Tell us agin this isn't so...

The North Carolina State Board of Elections has found thousands of instances of voter fraud in the state, thanks to a 28-state crosscheck of voter rolls. Initial findings suggest widespread election fraud.

765 voters with an exact match of first and last name, DOB and last four digits of SSN were registered in N.C. and another state and voted in N.C. and the other state in the 2012 general election.
35,750 voters with the same first and last name and DOB were registered in N.C. and another state and voted in both states in the 2012 general election.
155,692 voters with the same first and last name, DOB and last four digits of SSN were registered in N.C. and another state and the latest date of registration or voter activity did not take place within N.C.
The second point is key, as double voting is election fraud under state and federal statutes. Punishment for double voting in federal elections can include jail time.

You might need to get your talking points updated.
Same day registration is an invitation to fraud.

I mentioned early voting, not same day registration. Your avoidance of that exact issue is telling. You know there's no justification other than voter suppression.

No, you quoted an article about BOTH early voting and same day registration and got all twitchy. You didn't say anything to indicate that you're completely fine with elimination of same day registration and that your sole concern was early voting. Should I consider your misrepresentation about what you mentioned telling?

Where yours is based on unsubstantiated accusations.

Again, institutional voter fraud and absentee voter fraud I'm sure exist, but that's not the reason Al Franken won. I'm also not sure it had affected any elections, whereas gerrymandering, voter disenfranchisement and Citizens United have.
Speaking of unsubstantiated accusations, Republicans generally aren't responsible for the long voting lines you're talking about. Usually, those lines are more common in democrat jurisdictions, especially urban districts run disproportionately by liberal minorities.

Are you dense? Of course that's where they are. Republican controlled states cut back on voting stations as a whole which disproportionately affects crowded inner city liberal districts. Combining that with the fact that republicans require voter ID which affects those same people. Don't pretend to not know what's going of. That's just silly.

I'm not dense, I'm just not ignorant. While states establish standards, voting equipment is usually purchased at the local level. That means that when your failed liberal local government decides to shortchange their voters by buying fewer voting machines than the suburban county that's well managed by Republicans next door, the democrat jurisdiction is going to end up with longer lines than the Republican jurisdiction. Tell democrats to buy more voting machines and your problems will be solved.

Well YEAH!!!!

Don't fight it, use it... Vote early and often in the coming elections.... If enough country-folk can make their way into Jackson, Boone, and St. Louis counties to vote a few more times (and their dogs and cats too), Missouri could finally rid itself of of the three ugly blue stains that ruin our landscape... Just ugly...ugly and disgusting...
