No wonder countries dont trust USAID

US confirms it made 'Cuban Twitter'

excerpts below
Quote:
The White House has confirmed that a US government aid agency was behind a text-message service that was allegedly designed to foment unrest in Cuba. The US reportedly hid its links to the network through shell firms and by routing messages via other countries. The scheme, first reported by the Associated Press news agency, was operated by the US Agency for International Development (USAID)

It is a federal international development organisation run under the aegis of the Department of State. The report could undermine USAID's longstanding claim that it does not take covert action in the countries where it operates aid programmes.

USAID is dispensed all over the world – not just in Cuba.

It is claimed that USAID ensures American security and even prosperity. at the latter. But does Cuba threaten our security these days? at that one too.

USAID is really just another wealth transfer program that impoverishes the receivers and ourselves, if you care to fact-check the socialist rhetoric. Aid is written by congress critters who rarely even read what's in the bills they pass.

Also, our aid winds up going to corrupt govts as well as inefficient and corrupt enterprises that rarely are accounted for. Not only do we disburse funds but our cartel bankers ( inherently statist) introduce Keynesianism economics--mainly benefiting their cartel and control over such govts. Such countries wind up indebted to the IMF and World Bank. This is supposed to make them prosperous and content? Wealth transfers don't even build a healthier society or prosperous economy at home so don't know why the right supports them when it goes to foreign govts they prefer.

USAID undercuts private capital growth that creates jobs while it creates dependency, poor education, red tape, and higher debt which winds up harming our security and prosperity. This is the same with most govt aid. Furthermore such, aid also goes to NGOs who foster revolutions in other countries just like the Cominterm once did.

America's best security is a return to less foreign intervention (in 134 places now) with a free-market system which innovates and improves our standard of living, and technology which would benefit security far more. Afterall, although not completely free-market before the world wars, it was still much freer and more prosperous with less debt than today. It was such conditions that allowed American to mobilize for a world war and be victors. Don't see impoverished countries able to do this. Today, it will take us down.

Can't have your cake and eat it too. All empires end in bankruptcy. Just look to the past to see how they all ended. The one before ours, Great Britain's already rode into the sunset. We're on our way there now.

Yeah, those religious covert actions Lane mentions are more like Jesuits fostering communist revolutions in Latin America. Like Castro.
