Another Obama Administration Scandal? or is this phony too?

Man this administration has more phony scandals. Now its the IG for Homeland Security. And The Washington Post is even on this deal. Media just won't leave Obama alone.

the only reason the committee even knows this much is due to whistleblowers. These are the same group of people who have historically gotten blackballed by the government for speaking out.

I dont see this as a failure of the obama administration, or a democrat/republican issue. I see this as a failure of bureaucracy. This is the group that holds the real power, are unelected, and (generally) remain as political administrations come in and out of power. What can be done to bring accountability, oversight, and clarity to the bureaucracy?

Of course. No leftist will hold Obama and his crew accountable.

This. Government is too ****ing big. Both parties grew it. Holy crap, they have a shit hemorrhage when you talk about cuts to a department, even when the "cuts" are only eliminating the automatic increase they get every year. Has any departments budget ever really been cut? I don't see how we ever reduce the size of this blob.

Left already deflection this away from the foul stench of Obama's decaying Presidential legacy. But that won't be easy, even old moon bat Claire McObama is in on getting the truth out…

The official tasked with keeping watch over the Department of Homeland Security was instead watching out for senior officials he considered his “friends,” according to a Senate probe.

A subcommittee of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs released a scathing report on Thursday that effectively confirmed many of the ethical allegations that have trailed Charles Edwards ever since he resigned his post in December as acting DHS inspector general. The report determined that he “jeopardized the independence” of his office by socializing with senior DHS officials and had reports “altered or delayed” to accommodate the department he was supposed to oversee.

In the wake of the report, DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson announced that Edwards, who after leaving the acting IG post took a different job at DHS, would be placed on administrative leave.

The report also included, though did not confirm, allegations that Edwards’ office sat on information about the 2012 Secret Service prostitution scandal that could “influence an election.”

Didn't the Obama admin just hire the top (or one of the top) criminal defense lawyers to be on his staff? Attorney Neil Eggleston that counseled Rham Emmanuel (sp?) during that Rod Blagojevich mess, and was also the attorney for the Clinton admin during that Whitewater scandal. Wonder why Obama wants him in his corner now?

Shut the department down and fire everybody.

Simple enough.

What I don't understand, is that we have so many scandals in our govt today, but so many still trust what the same kind of folks in govt are telling us...that includes of foreign policy. I'm tellin' ya' the US govt is at its peak in corruption from the top down. They are criminals in govt for their own agendas or benefit. This is why we're turning into a third world nation.

A fish stinks from the head. It colors the whole organization.

I am sure the secret classifications are pretty much there to cover up the government messing up. I think if they unclassified everything and made everything out in the open people would be dumbfounded to know just how corrupt and incompetent the government actually is.
