Remember Dexter McCluster last year? Think that, just a lot faster. It isn't taking touches away from anybody.

Draft Scout *DeAnthony Thomas News
03/26/14 - 2014 Pro Days: De'Anthony Thomas clocked at 4.34 at Oregon workout...De'Anthony Thomas put to bed any concerns about his straight-line speed during Oregon's Pro Day, clocking in at 4.38 and 4.34 according to the hand-held times of one long-time league scout attending Thursday's workout. The times were more in tune with the explosive speed Thomas had demonstrated throughout his three seasons with the Ducks and significantly faster than the 4.50 he was credited with at the Scouting Combine. Thomas' best time would have ranked behind only Kent State's Dri Archer and Oregon State's Brandin Cooks for fastest recorded in Indianapolis this year.

That, vision and hands is why he is NOT McCluster....who by the way just got a nice contract from TN and was a 2nd rd pick. Not a 4th.

Thomas said he feels like an entertainer on the field and getting the crowd to make noise. He loves making plays for his team.

Thomas says he will not get caught from behind in the NFL. Once he gets out of the gates he is going to score that touchdown.

Still would have preferred a natural slot like Herron, but to each his own.

They evidently believe they already have that on the roster. Who it is I couldn't say.

Thomas absolutely has slot WR traits. He's as quick and shifty as anyone in this draft and has experience split out as a WR in the Oregon system.

Okay but he's far to raw with his route running. His contribution in the passing game will be minimal at most.
