What's better since the Democrats took power in 2008?

I'll start with the stock market. My investments in big corporations are doing well.

Name your own. Go.

If Obama was in that position, he'd blame Colin Powell... he's the one who basically made the case to the American public, right?

I thought it was monumentally stupid to invade Iraq. And a general reason of "well, the world will be better off without him" is a pretty weak reason to launch a war. A lot of people fit that description.

Afghanistan was already going and it was clear that was being half-assed and invasion, occupation and rebuilding Iraq was sure to take many years.

While I didn't feel bad for Saddam when he hung, his death didn't necessarily make things better in the region. He has an a-hole, but a pretty impotent one who held together a secular country that was a balance to Iran. Our invasion also gave Iran more than enough incentive to speed up there nuke program.

Powell, among others made the case...but obviously the biggest cheerleaders were W and Cheney. Powell doesn't go off on his own.

Not sure what the crack on Obama blaming Powell is supposed to mean. If you lauched a war because of Al Queda links and WMDs that weren't true, you wuold probably blame bad intelligence, which is what W did.

Looking back, it is easy to see the mistakes. However, I don't really recall any dissenting voices at the time. Not until the next big election anyway.

The dissent was drowned out by cries of "If you are not for us, you are against us." and "You don't support us you support terrorism." and abunch of other crap.

And it wasn't "mistakes"

It was systematically lying to the America public to enter us into a war.

Yet the Obama Regime has systematically lied about our war actions in Libya and now Nigeria, lied about well, just about everything else: civil libertie, that ACA wasn't a tax but then defended as a tax to the SC, lying about our activities in the Ukraine, lied about civil liberties, transparency, keeping our doctor, that ACA would bring down healthcare costs.

If I were you I wouldn't even go there with the Bush Regime's lies on WMD on Iraq--especially when Democrats under Clinton made similar claims about Iraq and many didn't question their rival in the WH about such claims either. In other words, they refuse to take any responsibility for their lack of questioning the WH and just rubber stamped it so they could then blame the other side.

If anything Obama is a much bigger liar than Bush if you wanna add them up.

I didn't post back then, unfortunately. All those years of not debunking the bullshit has left me with a probably insurmountable task of undoing 10 years of it all at once.
