Eric Cantor is in trouble

This could be a little early, but the House Majority Leader appears to be going down.

He was expected to easily turn aside a tea party challenger, but Eric Cantor is now losing by a whopping 11 points in his primary with about 51% of precincts reporting.

Now down 10, 69% reporting.

Cantor is also the only Jewish Republican in the house.

This guy probably would have become speaker if Boehner decided to retire next year.

The political number-crunching pros are now saying the votes aren't there for a comeback. The only reason it hasn't been called by CNN or the networks yet is because they are still picking themselves up off the floor from laughing so hard.

down by 12 with 75% in? Dude is toast. Perhaps Boehner will accept the fact it is the Tea Party that put him in the Speaker's seat to begin with and he had better stop treating them badly. Then again perhaps he will step down as Speaker or be voted out which would be a good thing too.

The message here is not so much they Right wants the Tea Party, per say, but rather they are tired of the establishment BS.
