The country is ****ed

Between fat acceptance, the recent "feminism" fad, participation only sports, and the idiotic need to label every self identifying sexual based group out there, America is quickly going the way of the Romans.

We spend billions watching tv to partake in violence and beauty, and over indulge in food, liquor, and porn at every chance, all while evolving into a culture of pacifist who label anything that hurts our feelings as either racist, prejudice, or a hate crime.

The internet has allowed the sheep to gather in mass and propagate their uneducated opinions, and they gain validation through "thumbs up" icons. The danger of this is that the youth also read this bullshit on social media but accept it as the norm, and then follow suit.

We are lost.

Concern is concern. It comes from an emotional and logical place. Qualification has nothing to do with it.

I'm pretty appalled with everything in the OP. It won't be long until fat transvestites are running for President.

Ok.

I can tell you why. It's because you keep talking about things you dislike and calling it societal decline. Now if you want to talk about the parallels in the rise of Rome and the US as world powers, how our current state compared to the later years of the republic, and how our fall may also parallel I'd love to have that conversation.

How about bringing some real social or economic issues and how they may compare to a fallen world power? If you're going to sit here and complain about things you don't like and say "We're DOOOOOOMED!" you're probably not going to get much more of a response than 'grow up.'

Count Zarth is right. Way too much attention has been paid to the feminist aspect of his OP.

Is there something wrong with an overweight person running for President?

No, unless they push a fat acceptance agenda on the country.
