Good decision.

Another loss for Obama at the Supreme Court.

Quote:
The Supreme Court ruled Monday that closely held companies cannot be required to pay to cover some types of contraceptives for their employees, ending its term with a narrow legal and political setback for a controversial part of President Barack Obama's healthcare reform law.

...and no one cares all that much. No one who is sane, anyway.

For what its worth, the media appears to be overplaying this a bit. The decision has no impact on the government (as an employer) or on publicly-traded companies. Only closely-held companies that are private and owned by either one person or a few people.

How many businesses are there like that in this country? I would say this is a big deal for them and they are sane people.

Explain it to me. Why the hell should anyone give a damn about this decision. Political geeks care because OBAMA, but why is this relevant to the average everyday working person?

You're not trying to pretend that the only people that care are the anti-Obama crowd, are you?

Because that's kind of how that reads.

no, insane people on the left also care for the same bizarre reason: geeky irrelevant political bullcrap.

The fact is, well over 99% of people literally would not see an impact if the decision went either way. That is almost a definition of an irrelevant case.

Interesting take....that religious values protected by the first amendments are "irrelevant"....
