How come if Obama had a son, he'd look like Trayvon. But not like any of these crazies? How exactly does that work?

Ferguson is a weird place. It's surrounded on three sides by prime interstate, abuts McDonnell Douglas, has a major community college campus on it's north end, and yet manages to be too boring to be either gangsta dangerous or gentrifying attractive. If an entire municipality could be an early 90s, now largely closed, strip mall, it'd be Ferguson.

Belmar said one of the men pushed the officer back into his squad car and a struggle began. Belmar said at least one shot was fired from the officer's gun inside the police car. Ferguson Police Chief Tom Jackson said authorities were still sorting out what happened inside the police car. It was not clear if Brown was the man who struggled with the officer.

This is the situation comparable to Travon Martin?

At a news conference on Sunday morning, the St. Louis County police chief, Jon Belmar, said that a man had been shot and killed after he had assaulted a police officer and the two had struggled over the officer’s gun inside his patrol car. At least one shot was fired from inside the car, Chief Belmar said.

This is a deadly threat. The officer was supposed to let him have his gun?

I'm not exactly buying the cop's side of the story.

The police officer said that the kid shoved him back into the car and then there was a struggle for the weapon and then ultimately shoots him to death 35 ft away from the car.

It sounds like to me, that the officer got shoved back into his driver's seat and the kid was outside of the car. Cop got pissed/feared for his life and let one off from the car. Kid runs away and then gets plugged multiple times while he is fleeing the officer.

The kid was wrong to assault the officer but the explanation at this time seems more like CYA than what actually happened.
