Anyone using a air fryer

I'm doing my first cooking tonight. Frozen fried chicken and some broccoli and califlower will take picture.

yup. We use ours all the time. I wish it had a larger capacity and a smaller footprint.

I'll give you that, the context is for a quick meal prep lunch box steak. Not a "good" steak lol. He does a carnivore diet, and im kicking around going back to keto.

I got one on black friday and have been making chicken wings, nuggets, tater tots and fried ravioli in it. Works pretty well.

I also reheated some McDonalds fries in it and made them nice and crispy again.

Reheating leftovers is by far the best thing about it. There's certain things that a microwave just can't do.

We had one but it was way too small to cook in the amounts we usually do. It took an hour and half to do a 4-5 pounds of chicken tenders. Cast iron knocks that out much faster.

I've mentioned this in the past but I cook food in the air fryer at least 30 degrees below the suggested temperature, so if the packaging says 400 degrees, I'll cook at no higher than 370.

It's also important to remove the drawer every 5-7 minutes to "shake" the items around so that the food cooks evenly. This is even more important in smaller air fryers, as they're not all the same size.

I've never tried cooking mozzarella sticks in the air fryer but I can definitely see them "exploding". I'd probably go with the toaster oven or just deep fry them in a pan.

Hmmm, I bought one around two years ago and totally forgot about the thing. It may be time to knock the dust off the box and put it to use.

That's a really good tip. I learned that cooking things in my first counter-top convention oven (can't remember the brand anymore). Basically because the air is being forced around the oven, less heat is required, so always use about 25-30 degrees less than what the packaging tells you to use. Otherwise you tend to burn most things.

As much as I hate to admit it, tik tok has done really good chicken wing recipes. You just have to look for them.

And you can see boobies while you’re hunting......

Well . . . chicken tenders come from chicken breasts, technically. So recipes for breasts alongside pictures of breasts . . . sure, makes sense to me.
