YES!! lets get rid of the old underacheivers, and draft a franchise back!

Bennet was in classic form last night 3 rushes for 2 yards thats .66 YPC

Richardson did pretty well with 6 rushes for 30 yards.

Lets cross our fingers and toes that Deuce McAllister slips and lands in the Chiefs laps!

Also who thinks a trade up for Deuce is possible? Cinci can sign Dillon and Garner and Barber will be franchised.

If the draft were today, the Chiefs would draft in the # ten spot.

SAN DIEGO 1 12
CLEVELAND 3 11
ATLANTA 3 11
CINCINNATI 3 10
ARIZONA 3 10
CHICAGO 3 10
DALLAS 4 9
NEW ENGLAND 4 9
SEATTLE 5 8
KANSAS CITY 5 8
SAN FRANCISCO 5 8

There is a chance they could move up as high as 7th. I don't see McCalister slipping past the teams that will draft ahead of the Chiefs. With the Chiefs needs and the talent that will be available in this years draft, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Chiefs trade their top-ten pick for several later picks.

I am not sure about where we draft in relation to San Fran, or Seattle.

For teams with the same winning percentage, strength of schedule for previous season is the first tie-breaker. Divisional, conference and coin toss tie-breaking methods are used when necessary. So head-to-head games are not relavent.

Let's hope the Chiefs can continue their losing ways.

I've got my eye on a top 5 pick. Anyone care to join me on THAT bandwagon?

Deuce will most assuredly not be available.

Of the teams that will most likely draft ahead of us, San Diego, Cleveland, Dallas (Smith may retire, if not now, in a couple), Chicago, New England, and SF (if Garner leaves via FA) will be looking for running backs. If we pick at #10 or #11, we'll likely get the 3rd or 4th best RB.

If we are at #10 or 11, Carl (assuming he's still the GM) had better trade up to get a top-notch RB, or sign a premier FA RB & trade down. I'd like to see these guys drafted at some point (pardon me for being a KSU fan):

Dominic Raiola (center, Nebraska)
David Allen (KR, KSU)
Jamie Rheem (PK, KSU)

Don't forget about Rudi Johnson (5'-10", 220lbs.) out of Auburn. He might be a better prospect than Deuce. He's been running ALL OVER the SEC.

That is, if he comes out early.

Clint, I like the idea of David Allen, but I am not sure about using him as a RB. He is decent at that spot, but not great. But he would definetly answer our problems at the returner spot. He is awesome there.
