Donkhater - While I don't disagree with your assesment of Cunningham, I will reserve judgement until the end of the season. After all, we are not going to change coaches in mid-season. SO, we have to make the best of it.

I realize that Wolfman. I guess when Gunther was hired i thought we would get a guy that we saw sometimes last season. We are going to run this play and that play and they're not gonna stop us. I think his spine has went a little and the bravado with which he speaks has no meaning. He would get more respect from his players and the fans if he said what was on his mind and let it all hang out rather than coach scared. They may not win, but they sure as hell won't the way the team is acting now and the players will love him for it.

Carl made sure that the coach he hired wouldn't "rock the boat". Since Marty "retired", this team's philosophy hasn't changed one bit, and now our personnel is the worst it's been since Carl was hired.
If this keeps up, Gunther will not be the coach next season, and Elvis will not be the QB, IMO. Of course, Carl will simply hire another aging, conservative buddy of his and another 6'5", slow, white QB. ------------------ This is my signature!! There are many like it but this one is mine!! |
