WHY Are the Chiefs STILL WORKING on the RUNNING GAME?

Here's a thought - IF the Chiefs are SOOO good at running the ball, how come the past 3 seasons it's ALWAYS a concern once the season starts??? The preseason comes and goes and we DON'T run well and then it starts for real and we use our first couple of games to work on what's SUPPOSED to be our "bread and butter"! IF I saw a marked improvement in the passing game I'd understand but that's not the case. Anybody have the answer???<BR>

I think TR could be our 'premeire' RB if we LEFT HIM IN THE F***ING GAME!! This 13 carries for TR, and 6 carries for Bennett, and 2-3 carries for Moreau, and 2-3 carries for Cloud, and.... GAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! END THE F***ING COMMITTEE!!!!!

Maybe we should give TRich the ball, but I think he does best when he gets 10 or so carries.

The guy we should give the ball to is Moreau. He comes in and busts off a 12 yard run and then GOES BACK THE SIDELINE AND SITS?!?!?!?

Our offense sputtered a couple years ago when Szott went down. We do have better back ups but they aren't the quality of Szott.

NO team can run the ball consistently against 8 man fronts. The Chiefs will see 8 man fronts on first and second down till we gain respect by passing the ball in running situations. FIRST down play action. Deeper routes in the middle of the field.

Its pretty sad, that to our Chiefs opening up the offense means running a few sweeps during the game.

Hell lets get really inventive a run a draw play on 3rd and 18. Boy won't the defense be surprised.

Anyone remember the first series in the preseason against the Titans? KC PASSED on first down and opened things up, we ran very well because of that and SCORED a TD. The drive was crisp and efficient! I just don't understand why that's not the norm, especially since it WORKED when it was tried. I guess it falls under the same backwards-A$$ thinking as let's pull our RB when he's doing well. Clueless in KC!
