Through week 5 2000, KC CHIEFS DE Eric Hicks has 7 sacks and that is second in the NFL to Marco Coleman of the Washington Redskins with 8.
Dan Williams has 3.5 sacks so far and that is in the top fifteen in the NFL. * Hicks has tied the CHIEFS sack leader for the entire 1999 season w/ 7 !!! - MPatton and the Great late Derrick Thomas tied w/ 7 last season for team highs. what a difference a year makes....... ------------------ CHIEFS |

There was somebody on the Star BB who kept telling us before last season to keep an eye on Hicks, that he was going to be a stud. Looks like he was right. Wish I could remember who that was, so he could get his props.

This was before the '99 season, from a Chiefs fan. jq was talking about Hicks before this season.

I dunno if it was me - kinda doubt it and I'm not really after any kudos but I've been tooting Hicks' horn since the beginning of '99 for being a "heady" player. I don't think I really noticed him in the '99 preseason though.
