The Chiefs have done an excellent job of turning it up a notch for big home games. Does anyone know the Chiefs record as home underdogs for the last 5 or 10 years? Yes, Im talking about the Rams game<BR>

The only loss off hand I remember is the Denver game in 98 when we were underdogs. The ones that I remember being underdogs and winning are Buffalo '91, Philly '92, SF 94 & 97(i think), Denver 97(reg season) and I don't remember if we were home dogs against G.B. in '96.

I can't answer your question, Rod.

But Mizzou piqued my memory on the GB game in '96. I was at that game, took my step-son to his first Chief game that day. MAN was that a bone-chillen cold day. And what a great game!!!

Knew from the very first offensive play, we were gonna win! Where the hell did LaChapelle vanish to anyway?

Before that GB game, Favre was something like 26-0 in games played when the temperature was below 40.

That is the only Chief game I've been to with REAL football weather. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED EVERY SECOND OF THAT BONE-CHILLIN COLD DAY!!!

Unfortunately, my step-son was 6 years old, and didn't give a rat's arse where he was, nor what he was participating in. Poor kid was freezin his bald sack off!!! That's all he cared about, and I can't say as I blame him one damn bit!

Rod,
I was able to find the official list of games since 1990 when the Chiefs were underdogs at home.

1990 Minnesota -1.5(Chiefs won 24-21)
1991 Buffalo -3(Chiefs won 33-6)
1992 Philadelphia -2(Chiefs won 24-17)
1994 S.F -3(Chiefs won 24-17)
1996 G.B. -3(Chiefs won 27-20)
1997 Denver -4(Chiefs won 24-22)
1997 S.F. -3(Chiefs won 44-9)
1998 Denver -4(Denver won 30-7)
1999 Denver -3.5(Chiefs won 26-10)
2000 Indianapolis -3(Colts won 27-14)

One last bit of info about the Rams/Chiefs upcoming game. The Chiefs have never beaten the Rams at Arrowhead & have lost the last 2 times by the same 16-0 score(1985 & 1994).

DAMNIT MIZZOU!!!

You're takin me on a serious emotional roller coaster here today, in the same thread no less!!

I was at the '94 LA Rams game too!! MY VERY FIRST CHIEFS GAME! WHO-HOO!

I proposed to my wife the night before on a carriage ride around the Plaza! For the record, she said 'Yes'.

Rained most the game, pretty chilly too (this was late September). Dubious honor of witnessing Joe Montana's one and only shutout of his entire career as a STARTING Qb. Never forget Flipper Anderson's FLUKE A$$ TD catch to seal the game. Un-Fricking believable play!

I was at that Rams game too. I think everyone left that game in shock. We were a 2 TD favorite in that game. Anderson's TD was a total fluke. He came from out of bounds to catch that ball that wasn't even thrown to him, but since it was tipped he got the TD.

Still to this day ticks me off!!

That weekend, obviously, was one the very best of my life!!

In one game, I got to see three certain HOFers, all of them in Chiefs red!!

The only concern I have about this Ram game is will Chiefs fans show up in full force to support our team, or are there going to be a lot of people pulling a Notre Dame and selling their ticket to St Louis Ra...ERR..St Louis Kurt Warner fans? Because you know that those tickets could demand a lot of moolah. We need all the noise we can get in that stadium, and the last thing I need to see is a bunch of Kurt Warner jerseys...
