The mechanics of rep?
Newbie question ... please bear with me.

Can I get some feedback on rep and how it is dispensed, etc.

To give rep: Click on the little "speaking man" box next to the edit button. From there you can approve/disapprove somebody's post. The more rep you have, the more you give somebody when they post....

To check your rep and rep comments, just click on your "profile" button up there at the top of the screen... it'll list any rep comments you recieve at the bottom... green is positive/red is negative/gray is neutral (when somebody doesn't really have any rep and they try to neg rep you)

Look at the little talking head at the bottom of this post. Click it. When the new window opens up, press I approve, write "I gave rep! Good for me" in the comment box, and submit.

I'll tell you if you're successful.
