Andy Appreciation
Just found out Andy has his favorite burgers flown in from California, just an absolute legend move
|
Second half was legendary play calling entire half. His masterpiece. Skyy TD, Toney TD, so many plays that were all about design. What more can you say. Reid with Mahomes and Kelce is unfair
|
Andy “let’s go win another”
|
Big Red just out dueled those poor fools
|
“I think I’m gonna hang around”
|
WHERE MY BOY WALLCRAWLER AT
BOOOOOY I'M GONNA TEABAG YOU SO GODDAMN MUCH |
Andy Reid = MVC = Most Valuable Coach
|
One of the best NFL coaches of all time.
|
haters die
|
I credit that whole second half to coaching. Amazing job all around!
|
Zero flaws on his legacy all time. He’s in the highest tier of coaches all time.
|
Sirriani over there show boating. Karma

Yep, Andy Reid masterpiece. Really used deception to save his banged up QB

Check this one out. Spent the whole season running that FB dive play into the ground until we were all sick of it, and in the last 4 minutes of the Super Bowl he runs a change-up off of it to get a monster 3rd down.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">The Chiefs LOVE using dive plays to Burton in short yardage situations from two back looks. With the RB as window dressing faking a pitch.<br><br>And then on a huge 3rd & 1, the Chiefs play off of that tendency and have Burton seal the edge and the Chiefs OL pull. Such good stuff. <a href="https://t.co/QBH1bi7mWR">https://t.co/QBH1bi7mWR</a></p>— Nate Tice (@Nate_Tice) <a href="https://twitter.com/Nate_Tice/status/1625030383585878016?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">February 13, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> |

Reporter: So what kind of offense you gonna run, Andy?
Andy: Yes. |

Now run along and type some more stupid shit. |
Eagles gave up on Andy 10 years ago. He got pretty awesome payback on Philly tonight.
|
Lots of Chiefs players played well. Mahomes and kelce played well. But man, Reid is mvp of this game by a wide margin. We won today primarily because of creative offense playcalling

You hate our coach and won't ever admit it. Your preface it by saying you don't, but EVERY ****ING WORD you type about the man says you don't trust him or think he's as good as he actually is. I don't think I've ever seen you post something about how you're glad Andy Reid is our coach. |
Those two plays to Toney and Moore were hilarious. Got legit 10+ yards of separation in the red zone with nothing but flawless design and execution by the WRs.

Terry Bradshaw getting the hate for his "waddle over here" comment.

I've watched this about ten times; everyone executes perfectly on this play. Wylie reaches and perfectly cuts down Fletcher Cox, Humphrey stones Jordan Davis, and OBJ turns Hargrave inside allowing Thuney and Smith to pull out into traffic and seal the edge. Credit to the Eagles safety for saving what could have been a 20-30 yard gain. If you like OL play, last night was porn. |

Some of those plays he called were just absolutely perfect.
Sky Moore TD and Pacheco sweep on 3rd, poetry in motion. Billicheck was the best team manager, Andy's the best play caller. In the end, after this decade, Andy overcome's Billicheck as the GOAT. |
All the happiness and pain Andy put his former team through, this game was the cherry on top.

Take the defense of Andy in the SB we lost, for starters, work your way on from there. Listen, it's not my fault that the posts that I've made about Andy Reid are based on his poor statistical record and fact. You don't have to like that Andy experienced the most premium pant shitting in games he was favored to win. It happened, moreover it happened numerous times as no HoF coach has lost more games they were favored to win, than Andy. You don't have to like that he owns two of the most horrific postseason collapses in NFL History. He owns them regardless. As ive stated, ad nauseum for butt****ing moronic illiterate ****s like yourself, Andy Reid gets you a shot at the big one. Who wouldn't take that? The criticisms I've leveled toward him are well earned, and well deserved. You can take your homeristic bundle of sticksry and fist yourself. The man got it done. Again. No way I or any Chiefs fan can repay him, and in multiple threads that once again I'm sure you didn't ****ing read I've tipped the cap to his second half scheming 2 guys wide ****ing open, and managing the last 5 minutes offensively to perfection. But it won't be good enough for ****s like you, who think this erases his history. He has two championships in 9 title game appearances. Be mad about it. But he earned his record, and he earned his criticisms, and acting like someone saying just because Andy is favored to win a playoff game, doesn't mean he will is some kind of over the line hate is just asinine. It's just fact. Cry about it. Fortunately for us, the Chiefs weren't favored in either the title game or Superbowl, so the bad mojo was defeated by default. The poetry here, is Andy Reid cost the Eagles a second superbowl. Now you run along and tell everyone how much Wallcrawler hates Andy Reid, you ****ing idiot. It's funny, but not nearly as funny as your post in the Kelce draft thread. This is one of those consider the source situations. Say whatever you want. Coming from a proven ****ing reerun, it means Jack shit. Maybe post dunking on Sirianni again. At least that was entertaining. |
Andy Reid is no longer allowed to be questioned or criticized ever again in my book.
He does whatever he wants. So does Veach. Forever. May as well shut down the board, because there's nothing left to discuss. Whatever they do is correct, and anyone who questions them is wrong. The end. |

No one runs pro set anymore, and you don't run wide from it often like this. Have seen the Chiefs do it once or twice. Brilliant call. |

And the play design was excellent. The execution waa even better. I bet Andy was having a hard time holding on to that playcall all year |
The game was an absolute masterclass from the best to ever do it.
And the more you dig into it, the more obvious it becomes. Reid was ****ing LOCKED in. It was extraordinary. And the thing is, it took a couple fantastic plays (and a bullshit overturn) for the Eagles to move the ball on that long drive. The tide had turned. The Chiefs offense was in rhythm and the Eagles offense was fighting tooth and nail for every 1st down. Our coaching staff had gotten ahead of theirs and it was only going to get worse for them from there. |

Continue to tell yourself you were right all along. It's worked out great for you thus far. |

Eat a LITTLE crow, man. Just a little. You don't have to go whole hog, but just a, "Hey, I was wrong about you, Andy" would be nice. I mean, for crying out loud. He stuck the dagger into the Eagles through correct clock management. Love the fat man, sourpuss. |
There's not another coach that I couldn't be ****ing happier for. Reid has always been one of those guys that I liked even when he wasn't coaching my team. It's not lost on me just how much he turned this team around.
|
Chiefs are incredibly fortunate to have Reid as HC. Reid is the best coach the Chiefs have ever had, and I'm really happy for his success.
|
I am convinced there are some fans who are happiest when they’re unhappy.

I do think however that we win 1 or 2 more before that happens. Every decade there has been a franchise that has won at least 3 rings. We're this decade's dynasty. |

He drags a mediocrity like Donovan McNabb to conference championship games and even a Super Bowl, but then can't win with him and suddenly "Andy Can't Win the Big One!!!" Meanwhile 95% of the coaches in this league would've struggled to take a team with McNabb to the post-season. |

It would have been nice to be relevant after week 1, much less worry about if we could beat the best team in the league. I’ll admit I didn’t want a retread at the time. Especially since that dude looked TIRED plus we were talking about Jeff Fisher (Fisher would have been the end of my fandom). But it’s fine. He’s the best coach in the league. 100% crow I’ll eat from now until the end of time. Quote:

It all worked out. Without the suffering of the Pioli years, we may not have been between regimes when Andy became available.

Thank you Philly for being too smart to keep Andy!

The second half by Andy was pure genius, culminating in the play-call that generated the holding call on Bradburry. Just look at how Andy sets up PHI's defense on those three drives. And the design of that route; what is that exactly? Because it's for damn sure not a typical route. It's some kind of hybrid. And look at how many guys are pointing right after it happens; it's like they expected the hold to happen right there.
Andy is a sorcerer. |
