What are they going to do with both Embiid and Noel? Neither dude is very fit to play PF, as mobile as they are for 7 footers.

They've got loads of time to figure that out (as well as time to watch them play together). They're in full tank mode for a few years yet to come. It's awesome.

And when they have a top 3 pick next year, and are looking at Okafor, Towns, Cliff, and Porzingis... they'll field offers.

Remember who their GM is.

There is a shit ton to like about this for all parties involved. Well, I shouldn't speak for the Sixers, since I have no clue what their needs or interests are.

But the Wolves get the necessary compensation they're looking for, and the Cavs CERTAINLY become a shit **** ton better team in that arrangement.

****... to have a 5 with the mobility of Embiid and his rim-guarding skills? Pair that with Lebron and Kevin Love?

That's a ****ing team, let me tell you.

agreed.

only issue is if the cavs want to wait a maybe a year for their center

you are a ****ing idiot.

period.

if they can get that haul they better damn well give it up

Somebody who won't throw away a talent like Embiid for Waiters and some lottery tickets, yeah. He's not going anywhere any time soon.

Noel's been tearing it up in the summer leagues! He's basically Olajuwon! /Rustshack's twin brother who lives in Philly

Lol. Once again we'll see who the idiot is when that trade doesn't happen.

Considering it was a trade I invented during happy play time, no... it's not happening.

The Sixers are in the mix. And they want to unload Thaddeus Young. We know that much. Sixers apparently want Waiters. The Cavs were searching for a Center. Wolves want to unload Barea and Martin. Wolves seem to want more than just Wiggins and Bennett. We're connecting plenty of dots here.

It's possible the trade I proposed doesn't involve a Center, in which case Bennett isn't in that deal. I just don't see any reason the Cavs would be making the claim they're hunting for a Center if that wasn't a piece to this puzzle.

Wonder if there's any way a three way deal gets done where neither wiggins nor embiid end up in Minnesota. Not saying that as a Jayhawk fan, just... those are clearly the top bargaining chips.

In case you haven't already figured it out, you're the idiot, regardless of whether or not a fan-created trade happens.

Seems to me that a 3-way deal could use the Celtics, with Rondo going to Cleveland and Irving going to Boston. Boston could then be used to add to the non-guaranteed contracts that the Wolves want. Bogans has the second largest non-guaranteed deal in the NBA, as I recall.

CAVS GET
Love
Dieng

WOLVES GET
Waiters
Bennett
Young
First round pick (CLE)
First round pick (MIA)

SIXERS GET
Wiggins
Kevin Martin
JJ Barea

FYI, I think financially this trade absolutely works.

Cleveland's incoming salary is 17.1M.

Philly's incoming salary is 16.9M. (assuming 5.4M for Wiggins - what Bennett got).

Minnesota's incoming salary is 19M.
