Veach likes to take care of his number one issue prior to the draft. Gives him more options during the draft. Last year Hill kind of screwed things up with his last minute contract demands. This year Veach took control and did not let Brown mess things up. He stuck to his timeline and let Brown walk. Brown on the tag would have been all Drama, again, more expensive and a free agent next year. Then No Camp. Blah Blah Blah. Good riddance.
