I don't follow Missouri basketball that close...but I thought they were really really really good? |

I think there are a good number of reasons why a coach would leave the NFL for Texas. |
The only time Kansas fans notice Mizzou basketball is when they're crying and begging us to play them, or when they face plant first round. I doubt any of us has seen them play at all yet this year.

So there's that. |

Because it's still football season. |

If you're camera shy, you would probably want to coach at Texas. Nobody is watching their games, it would seem.

Like in football this is definitely the year for Mizzou basketball. I'll be betting on them all year.
Well, until they leave their building or play someone with a pulse that is. |
Quote:
But in the end they ended up like most thought in the beginning of the season. 5th or 6th best team in the SEC. |

So again: both teams have one quality win and a fair amount of Ws against patsies. I'm sticking to the facts, you just don't care for them. |

That's 5th right there. But it's what they were picked to finish in the beginning of the year so it was definitely a good year. |

Kansas is 4 in RPI, 8 in Pomeroy and 9 in Sagarin. They'll move up even higher if they beat Georgetown tomorrow. Another fantastic start for KU, like always.

Kansas Football has gone through some lean years but it was all worth it.
Thought you guys had a chance for the same this year. Oh well |

I'd be surprised, if Texas didn't pull a big name. They are too big of a program not too. That being said it looks like odds makers have Charlie Strong as the "favorite" for the position.

And besides, didn't Saul blow up this "5th Bowl Slot" shit earlier anyway? |
Puds.
|
I don't know what Saul has ever "blown up" on here other than basic logic. But I'm asking you so don't rely on him. If its clear MU finished 2nd why didn't they get the 2nd bowl slot?
|
Why isn't Mizzou playing in the BCS if they are the 2nd place team in the SEC?
I'm confused by this process. |
Quote:
Maybe Saban told Alabama and the SEC he would jump ship if they didn't cater to his wishes? It's all speculation on our parts. You'll have to e-mail the SEC offices to find the real answer I suppose. I also suppose you might have already done this as obsessed as you are with all things Mizzou. |

Anything less than Mizzou winning the national championship would bring these two court jesters out doing cartwheels and trying to demean anything Mizzou has accomplished. It's cool though. They're fun to watch trip over their own feet. |
Such transparent trolling - no idea why some of you continue to respond.

Isn't Saul the guy who pimped their women's volleyball (that should say something about the guy right there) only to see them flame out early and watch Kansas go farther?
That school truly is the Charlie Brown of college sports. |

Says the guy that got pissed Mizzou volleyball was brought up in the first place. |

MU and TAM Upgraded. Colorado and Nebraska downgraded. |
If WVU and TCU weren't in the Big 12, no other major conference would consider adding them. That's really all you need to know about whether or not they were good adds.
