I think there are a good number of reasons why a coach would leave the NFL for Texas.

The only time Kansas fans notice Mizzou basketball is when they're crying and begging us to play them, or when they face plant first round. I doubt any of us has seen them play at all yet this year.

Well both teams have beat several mediocre opponents and have only one quality win on their resumes.

Kansas is 4 in RPI, 8 in Pomeroy and 9 in Sagarin. They'll move up even higher if they beat Georgetown tomorrow. Another fantastic start for KU, like always.
