Best case scenario? We sign him to a 1 year prove it deal and he succeeds. Because 2014 is also going to be a prove it year for Bowe as well. Maclin succeeds and Bowe doesn't? Cut Bowe and give Maclin a new deal. They both do? We work at getting Maclin locked up. Neither of them succeed? We're looking for a #1 WR in 2015.

You can't do that because in a leading role Maclin WILL get hurt.

His best option would be a mixed role in this offense (slot, split out) with about 20 snaps a game...

I don't think he's "looking" for a short term deal. I think he's stating that he's OK with taking a short term deal. If KC comes out and offers him a 2-3 year contract....he'll take it.

Yeah being a Notre Dame fan you know how good he is. He does more and isn't injured like Maclin. The only reason he's a free agent is because Seattle has a bunch of guys they need to re-sign and foolishly traded for Harvin which I was against.

Golden Tate is a rich man's McCluster. A little less ST ability....but his WR ability is ****ing 100 times better than McClusters. It just so happens that they were drafted in the same ****ing round. We should have Tate instead of McCluster right now.
