I haven’t watched a pro bowl game or related festivities in almost 20 years.

I appreciate them putting something together for fans, but I’m just not the target audience with the way it has devolved.

I saw Joe Burrow doing the throwing accuracy competition on my YouTube feed and I pointed and laughed at my computer screen.

The Pro Bowl exists for one reason only— to humiliate the people who lost to the Chiefs in the playoffs. Or in Burrow’s case, the people who didn’t make it at all

Pro Bowl has been played out with what players get paid. Plays in the Pro Bowl like what Sean Taylor did has made it to where it cannot be played.

If they still actually played the game, I'm sure you'd see teams putting "no Pro Bowl" clauses in big dollar contracts.

The Chiefs are in the SB again, but damnit there has to be something to complain about... ah yes, some random Thursday night(?) stuff 3 days before the actual Pro Bowl, how dare they force people to watch. :shrug:

Thinking about these guys doing silly stuff while two teams are gearing up for the Super Bowl. I felt bad for them, like it's embarrassing.

I get they don't want to injure anybody and make the event more family friendly, but they're getting too damn goofy.

The pro bowl is the highlight of the season for Broncos and Bengal fans though. Most of their fans eagerly anticipate the end of the season festivities the NFL puts on just for them.

Fifty-six years ago, pro football players had pride.

Idk if I’ve ever watched it in my life. Something about it being at the end of the year…who cares. And now of course it’s a dog and pony show and has been for a quarter century.

Bungholes fans were very excited watching Burrow participate in carnival games last night, judging by their frenzied reactions on social media.

I watched Burrow and Goff throw their balls and then Drake Maye steps up and turned it off. It was stupid anyways.

I agree with the OP. I actually turned down my invitation as an alternate for this weekend.
