Not surprising at all.

Indiana beat a bottom feeder again but Boston got 30, Mitchell 21 and Clark 26 & 12. The turnover woes remain though as she had nine this time to take her tally up to 204 turnovers. She's on course to obliterate the worst turnover average over a season in wnba and nba history. This is truly unprecedented.

Clark gets all the attention and assists too...not hard to figure out...

Reese hurt her wrist and is out for the year?

Ensuring she won't win the ROTY award for that reason alone, yeah?

Can you see the narrative coming?

Just to be clear: YOU are creating a ridiculous narrative and then trashing it? Why?

It actually isn't a false narrative. Even up until a week ago when Clark was sprinting away with roty, you still had noise about co-roty and ESPN's ridiculous rankings. This is a convenient excuse for these gatekeepers to claim Reese would have had a shot if not for the injury. I actually wish she would have played out the season so they'd have to confront what they had done. Because these gatekeepers need to go asap if the league is ever serious about cashing in their golden ticket

Someone hasn’t been paying attention

BEAVER 09-09-2024 09:26 PM

Not creating shit.

I just see that narrative likely upcoming from some of these Reese sycophants.

“Yeah, of course CC won, Reese was injured”.

This phenom has earned rookie of the year and is challenging for most valuable player of the year… Pretty ****ing amazing really!

Funny how this week she dropped off of the front page of CP, when she’s been on it the entire season. Just saying! For the record, she’s an inspiration for all daughters in our country, and an amazing person. Go, Caitlin!

Clark got beat in the last two games against the Aces. She got 16 and 18 points respectfully. And 5 and 6 turnovers to take her tally for the season up to 216. She'll be facing one of the bottom feeders next game so I'd imagine she'll put up some decent numbers again. Losing back to back against the champs isn't a surprise but they'll need to go on a run and gain some confidence before the playoffs start.

She broke the single season assists record tonight and still has 3 games to go. So Clark breaks the record for assists and also leads the league in assists per game, has the 8th most points per game, has the 18th most rebounds per game, has the 14th most steals per game, has the 6th highest efficiency rating, and has her team, and is responsible for taking the worst team in the league for multiple years to the playoffs!

ROTY this year and MVP every year after this. She also is responsible for all the attention the league is getting, all the money they are bringing in, and should be worshipped by all the players throughout the WNBA.

No one cares about turnovers. James Harden was runner up for MVP the year he broke the record for most turnovers in NBA history. Russell Westbrook won the MVP over Harden that year, but also had the 2nd most turnovers in NBA history.

No one cares about turnovers. I know it's the last thing you can grasp, so just give it up.

It doesn’t really matter how they do in the playoffs. This is one of the greatest franchise turnarounds in sports history. What they’ve done since drafting Clark is insane.

Caitlin Clark is her

As long as Aja Wilson is around she's gonna dominate mvp. Clark ain't on her level.

And what do Harden and Westbrook have in common?? BOTH CAN'T WIN A RING just like Clark couldn't in college. It's fine to point out her qualities but giving the ball back to the opposition on a consistent basis is never good and that's why Indiana have mostly struggled against some of the best teams. Because those teams will punish you.

I don't know anything about women's basketball, but I was glad to see she likes our superfan Taylor and is Chiefs friendly too. Would be cool if she hung out in the suite with Taylor at a prime time game.

Clark is far and away the most Valuable player that league has ever seen. It's not the best basketball player it's the most valuable player. It's Clark, there's no argument.
