+ We didn't use any draft picks to trade for Tunsil
+ Tunsil is 29, Taylor is 25
+ Tunsil wanted to reset the market, Taylor is playing LT on a (high) RT price tag
+ Our coaching staff has already helped a RT make the switch to LT full time, successfully.

When compared to OBJ, we got a younger, equally-if-not-better, less expensive player at LT for the next 4 years. Value, baby!

Sounds like Veach doing Veach things.

I’d also add that Taylor got paid but has EVERY reason to stay hungry. He’s in line for another pay day in his late twenties. If he performs as a LT, then he’s gonna get major money.

James Palmer said on NFLN that talks really broke down when Veach tried to get a last minute deal done before the tag deadline but Orlando and his agent stood by their demands.

So Brett really told Orlando and his noob agent to get ****ed LMAO

But seriously, Brown pissed Veach off. Dumped him for a less hot and less maintenance type.

This is how you imagine things?

How about if Veach thought OBJ was worth the money he was asking for, he would pay? Has it occurred to you that maybe OBJ is not that great at pass protection?

Agree. I wasn't an OBJ hater or truther, to me he was meh, but the difference in athleticism between Taylor and OBJ is impossible to ignore.

Yep, or they could have a RT they really like in the draft and let him battle it out with Niang. Signing Taylor opens up all of their options.

We can also draft a LT. You either do the Eric fisher approach and let him develop as a RT until he’s ready. Or you can get a 1 year bandaid to play RT until the Rookie LT is ready.

Of course its fantastic if Taylor winds up as a great LT. But I don’t think that means our next step is to fill RT instead of LT.
