No it doesn’t. You aren’t trading picks and paying a new deal to Tunsil when you have your LG and RT with the biggest contracts for their positions.

Veach at one point paid the tackle position more than any other team in the NFL with Schwartz and Fisher. Why wouldn’t he do it again?

It only makes sense if your QB is Joe Burrow or something and is a sack eater. It doesn't make any sense with Patrick Mahomes.
