Irrelevant. Kansas deserved their BCS bid, period.

How's Europe bitch?

Making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year from playing basketball while living in Italy sounds awful.

Nice burn bro.

It sucks for Mizzou because they also deserved one. Their ire should be directed solely at Illinois since they did not deserve the Rose.

1. KU did not deserve a BCS bid over Missouri. Missouri got punished for losing a conference championship. KU neither played in that game nor won the H2H over Missouri. No way KU deserved it more (except in the minds of Jayhawk fans).

2. The Rose Bowl always hosts the Big 10 vs Pac-10 (now Pac-12) champs unless one of those plays in the BCS championship game. I am not 100% sure but I am pretty sure that is true even if the Rose Bowl hosts the BCS Championship game. Illinois played in that game because tOSU played for the NC.

3. Illinois did not screw Mizzou out of a game that, unless they were playing for the NC, they can never and will never be eligible for as they are in neither the Pac-12 or Big 10.

It's relevant to the stupidity of your "blame Illinois" comment. Kansas deserved a BCS bid...just not over Mizzou. Oklahoma, Mizzou, and Kansas all deserved bids. Hawaii and Illinois didn't. It's a stupid system, and it's gone after this season.

Illinois only got it because tOSU played in the NC Game. They went to a bowl that OU, KU, and MU are not even eligible for. Regardless of whether they deserved it or not, Illinois got it because they represented the Big 10 in a game that always pits the Big-10 vs the Pac-10 (now Pac-12). They did not steal a spot from MU. Now Hawaii is a different story.

I really couldn't care less at this point. It's 2013 and Mizzou is one of give teams with a realistic path to the national title. We need one of two teams to lose a game. Other than that, we control our own destiny.

Beyond that, the future looks bright. Less than 10 wins next year would be a disappointment considering what we bring back.

Saul Good 11-26-2013 12:30 PM

Does anyone know what UCF brings back next year, btw?

True as there are only four teams in front of Missouri. Two play this weekend and tOSU faces a tough Michigan State team. If they lose that and Missouri wins out they could be facing FSU for a NC.

Pretty much the whole team.

Saul Good 11-26-2013 12:51 PM

Our schedule next year is very interesting.

FCS team at home

Toledo on the road could be a tough test

UCF at home will be a bitch. They seem to be bringing back everyone unless Bortles declares for the draft.

Indiana in Columbia should be a win.

At South Carolina will be huge, but they lose Shaw and Clowney

After the bye, we get Georgia at home. They lose Murray. It will be a tough game, but we should be favored.

If we can get through those games with no more than one loss, we should be in great shape to win the East again.

Florida is going to be better, but we should still win at the Swamp.

Vandy and Kentucky at home should be wins.

We get a bye before going to aTm. I don't know what to make of that game. They won't have Manziel, and they might not have Evans or even Sumlin. That's a coin flip.

Tennessee and Arkansas to finish up should be wins.

If we can win at South Carolina, the East is there for the taking.

Ah yes, "rip his ****ing head off" is the same thing as chanting about cum farts and rubbing rabbit fur on your cock every night.

"We just want to make sure everyone is representing the university with class," said Alden

Juuuuuust about three decades too late on this one.

I'd say "rip his ****ing head off" is plenty bad. It's bad enough that Mangino had to do a PSA on the video board asking fans not to do it.

Eleazar 11-26-2013 01:27 PM

Blaine should have stayed another year, but who would look good with the Jaguars?

He's only 24. I'm sure he will get another shot somewhere.
