Never thought I'd agree with Como (or Michael Sam's Gaping Butthole), but in a way I kind of do. KU is very good, at least with Embiid. When they turn it on, they're better than any other team in the country. But it seems they lack the consistent drive to be great like some other of Self's teams ('08, '10, and '12 stand out).. I was hoping it would come to them as the season went on, but it doesn't look like it has.

I don't give a shit. They're more consistently bad than they are when playing up to their competition. They're a horribly coached team who luckily caught Kansas on a night where they were sleeping.

Um, did you not see them crush Texas this weekend?

Good win by K-State. Embiid's disappearance is rough, Traylor out too. Defense is a major problem for KU and was KSU's stength tonight, especially in the paint.

Sucks to lose, hope KU learns from it. KU 4-4 in true road games, 4-1 in neutral site games, good thing the tournament isnt a road situation.

This is how much losing Embiid's mere presence matters.

I'm confident Traylor can give us good games if Embiid needs time off or a limited role.

It had more to do with KU being lazy all night.

KU should have won by 15 if they gave a shit.

No Embiid obviously played a role in them being able to have their way in the paint all night. This team is just on a different playing level when Embiid is in there playing well.
