I've posted some gems on here that didn't catch on, it happens.

There are some funny mofo's on this board. The comedy here is the main reason I even still browse this forum.

Drunk posts are the best.

Most of the stuff I post that makes me laugh the hardest, and gets the least noticed are tangential puns or obscure references/cross post humor. It's mostly a matter of 'Ohhh, for those few who get this, it'll be great.' So I don't expect a lot of attention from the outset, and I forget what the brouhaha was in short order.

Somewhat analogous to a witty callback in a podcast/Nerdmelt session.

For example, pulled entirely from my ass, what's going to be enduringly funny about an Avengers reference in a discussion of the O-line months later, even if it was hilarious in the moment?

That said, 90% of my rep is some form of laughter.

A recent one I thought might get more play

Lately, I've had many instances in which I've been sarcastic and/or was joking about something, and by the sounds of the crickets combined with other users' responses to those posts, people thought I was being serious...which most of the time puzzled me because I thought my sarcasm/references were obvious.

Anyways, one random post that I thought would get a laugh or two was one that I posted in the "Eric Berry Sez there is Big News Today" thread. Eric Berry had posted that there was going to be some big news the same exact day Desean Jackson was cut by the Eagles.

In that thread, I wrote something along the lines of, "THIS JUST IN: Desean Jackson to sign with the Chiefs and Buffalo Bill, Stevie Johnson has been found shot dead. Johnson's death is believed to be gang-related."

All I got was a :hmmm: from Pestilence. The rest was:
