AJ isn’t getting traded the year after he got paid. Stefon Diggs has been unhappy for like 3 years now and is still in Buffalo.

Aiyuk I can see being available. But I’m not exactly confident in it. The niners have just been end in the past about getting compensated before losing a guy to free agency

LMAO Nagy and Brian Johnson aren't even in the same stratosphere when it comes to their relative "incompetence". Quite frankly, if Reid ever allowed the offense to deteriorate to the extent the Eagles did I wouldn't mind a sideline confrontation or two to wake his ass up. And you chose a really poor example with Kelce, since he's actually gone to the point of shoving a coach when emotions peaked, not to mention all his other antics. The difference here is there's enough mutual respect between players and staff to let those emotions recede and get back to business. By all accounts that's not a thing in Philadelphia.

He's also traded and or released them though.

He can handle it, but it's also why I don't really get the criticism for the Pickens thing. If Andy and co. can handle it, yet said "nah, no thanks" that probably says something.

Yeah, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But Reid has shown that more times than not, it's going to work and players are going to love playing for him and he's going to allow them to show their personalities within the confines of still being a team player.

Chiefzillas ranted and raved against OBJ and he helped a team win a Superbowl and he's a major contributor to the current #1 seed. He just hates any WR with any kind of personality.

No i intentionally brought up kelce for that reason. Because there are ways to show frustration and to challenge teammates and to get mad at coaches. Same thing with mahomes. Even tyreek was a selfish player who towards the end was griping about targets and attention. Most of this stuff is fine and healthy.

But in the end these guys are still very coachable and fantastic teammates. They still execute the offense. They don’t air dirty laundry to the media. When it gets to the point where a player appears to be planting a lot of dirty seeds to the media, the public and teammates that leads to dividing locker rooms against the coaching staff… that’s something else entirely. You still gotta execute the offense and when you’re in a key playoff stretch you gotta put some of your agendas aside. It’s good for brown to be competitive but I think he may be so competitive that he’s just really really bad at dealing with any kind of adversity. Which makes you question how he would’ve survived a season like this one

That seems strong

Can we get a list going in the OP's initial post?

Who's available? Who's likely available? FA? Trade?

Umm yea, OBJ has #s similar to ****ing Justin Watson for crying out loud.

King is so ****ing clueless LMAO

Sassy Squatch 01-16-2024 10:03 AM

LMAO When did Brown ever do that? Seriously, because he went out of his way not to talk to the media for a few weeks? There are reports coming out as we speak delving into the scope of dysfunction and just how bad it got as the season progressed and Brown comes up nearly unanimously as one of the few voices actually trying to unite the locker room.

There was talk early in the year that he complained about targets which is why in the middle of the season his numbers ballooned because they were force feeding him. But it isn't anything out of the norm for a WR.

Right. WR wants the ball. News at 11. That competitiveness can actually be healthy if both the player and staff utilize it the right way.

O.city 01-16-2024 10:18 AM

If they trade him, it's a highly productive WR on his 3rd team in what, 3 years?

There's some smoke there.

Sassy Squatch 01-16-2024 10:21 AM

LMAO Not when the first trade was made purely for financial reasons and the head coach was absolutely furious after the fact.

The Franchise 01-16-2024 10:21 AM

Anyone who watched an Eagles game during that time could see Brown getting in Hurts face after drives where he wasn't targeted.

Well, ok. It still happened, now is apparently something we think is gonna happen again.

And there's supposedly nothing to see here?

Sassy Squatch 01-16-2024 10:30 AM

LMAO Jon Robinson wouldn't offer him more than Christian ****ing Kirk and the controlling owner eventually fired him in a fit of rage specifically because of that, but yes, Brown was an asshole the Titans couldn't wait to be rid of.
