Thanks for highlighting my point about your side having a cognitive disconnect with admitting when the Chiefs are wrong.

Reeruns such as yourself still can’t admit Taylor’s contract was a mistake.

Just like you are STILL defending Skyy Less.

Do you ever have a moment where you feel childish for this ‘your side, my side’ bullshit on an internet football bulletin board? I mean, you’re really investing a lot in this - digging back into old threads, searching, composing posts and using time and thought resources.

Once another member of the Goof Troop admits it, then Iowa will. He's a parrot.

Delano is just an epic idiot. No hope for that one.

The difference is we can recognize and praise the positive, while at the same time objectively call out mistakes.

Your side has a cognitive disconnect from admitting any mistakes by the Chiefs.

Your brutally awful takes in the DeAndre Hopkins thread this offseason are Exhibit A.

You either can't read or choose not to. There's been a number of people here who admitted mistakes by this franchise. Especially Skyy Moore

It really sucks that Collinsworth was able to ruin the season the way he did. Hopefully he gets something terminal soon.

He gets called for false starts on 0.07% of his snaps and we all know he false starts a whole lot more than that. The additional problem are his other penalties and his overall mediocre to bad play.

If you're going to get what Jawaan is giving us, at least it should be cheap.

So you acknowledge that paying $20 million/year for Taylor to play RT was an epic fail by Veach?

He is only costing $5.8M this year. Next year you can judge him for $24M.

Take it up with spotrac and pff then

JPH83 12-28-2023 01:14 AM

He's been terrible. He may well return to his previous form and be a solid pass protector, but that is his ceiling and for that money it's not enough. He's an awful run blocker, and even for this offense that matters. Hopefully he figures it out next year but I'd hope we move him on as soon as it is vaguely financially viable.

-Only costing $5.8 this year according to spotrac. Your looking at average over entire contract which is unrealistic.

-PFF, Penalties and run blocking are what gets him that 50 rating. Not extremely worried about either come playoff time.

I agree. I would have just liked to see his 2023 season without the witch hunt then I could have properly judged his performance but we’ll never know.

JPH83 12-28-2023 02:57 AM

I'd probably see if we can sign Tyron Smith for LT. Probably as important as getting a WR and the best option in FA. A risk given his injuries but realistically our best shot at improving the OL.

Taylor we'll have to live with for now.

New World Order 12-28-2023 03:12 AM

JT, a big ball of suck

Brooklyn 12-28-2023 08:13 AM

He’s really fallen off and so has Smith. Penalties aside, they were keeping Mahomes clean the first half of the year. And we still scored points and were 7-2 at one point.

Amazing how that Denver game took a lot of wind from our sails and it’s clear now they just threw the kitchen sink at us then gave up on the season. True spoilers. Playing Philly in a SB rematch after the bye did us no favors either. Losing to Denver, beating Tyreek, losing to Philly was a huge roller coaster. Almost wish the bye was AFTER Philly.
