This is correct.

Smith completely gacked a couple run reps and I couldn't give one **** less. Guy kept Mahomes clean. A jaked run rep that turns a 1st and 10 into 2nd and 11 is just as bad as a penalty that turns 1st and 10 into 1st and 15.

But when Smith bombs a run rep, nobody says boo. Taylor gets a 5 yard penalty or gets boned on an awful block in the back and he's just a worthless puddle of ****.

Didn't his penalty cost us 4 points? Is he largely keeping Mahomes from getting killed? Yep. Aside from that I'm not sure what we're defending here. He keeps giving away dumb penalties.

Knew some dork would downvote. If he cuts out the penalties, cool, he could be a decent foundational piece. If not he's going to be a pain in the @ss. Clearly we can keep Mahomes healthy and win with him, which I get is the important calculation. But it's a lot of money for a RT that is committing that many penalties.
