Gutsy as f**k. Don't know what he'll end up being but I already trust his blocking a lot more than RoJo's.

All 3 backs are blocking their asses of so far. Good to see.

That's how he'll earn carries. If Pacheco can be counted on in pass pro, they can keep him on the field in all situations and he can get some carries as tendency breakers.

But this isn't a CEH situation where they're going to work to feed him. He's gonna have to steal his workload. As he said 'take another grown man's job'. He'll have to seize even the slightest of opportunities.

Yeah, I made mention of that play in the Mahomes GIF thread. I am GODDAMNED impressed by that pickup. It's not clean or pretty and PFF will probably say he "lost", but **** that was a huge pickup.

It's better than impressive. That's D. James, one of the best in the business, trying to put the shake and bake on Patches, a straight up rookie. And Pacheco stays home like a veteran and puts a solid block on Derwin. Most rookie RBs probably lunge and **** that up pretty good.

Agreed. I was thrilled when I saw that on the GIF thread. I missed it live. Like I said, I don't know how his reads are, that's what will get Mahomes killed, but that was a damned impressive rep by that dude.

Dude was running with some serious passion tonight. Still had a couple dumb angles right into a tackle. But, had a few runs with serious power. Continues to impress. Hopefully Clyde feeling some pressure. Good for both.

Always cool to see him disappear into a pile and then watch the mass of humanity crawl up the field before he finally goes down with an 8 yard run.

He runs so angry and with such passion. It's legit unique and impressive.

So much fun.

Absolutely nasty violent running game tonight. Mahomes will be really hard to beat when the offense had this kind of counterpunch.
