Not like him, but legal trouble.

Don't care...

Not trollin', I'm just surprised at the amount of mutual masturbation going on in this thread considering the Chiefs drafted a CB who wouldn't have gone in the first last year.

Maybe it was the fear of drafting Cameron Erving? I know how much everyone here hated the idea of drafting a solid interior offensive lineman at 18.

I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but I don't understand why everyone, Chiefs fans and otherwise, always see the Chiefs as some cookies and milk organization. I don't think that's ever been the case. We're the team that had Andre Rison, Bam Morris, Larry Johnson... Derrick Thomas and Neil Smith were brash guys. Jared Allen too. Unfortunately we had Belcher who was not a boy scout. This team has never been a bunch of choir boys. Except maybe at QB, which is fine because most of the great QBs are smart, disciplined, don't say anything brash to the media type guys anyway.

I'm talking about fire-breathing super-emotional players.

Larry Johnson was an asshole, but he was a quiet asshole.

Typically, when we've drafted good players they've been very quiet individuals-- Derrick Johnson, Eric Berry, Jamaal Charles, Dwayne Bowe, Dontari Poe. This is about drafting a guy with the skills and potential to be Richard Sherman who also has the emotions and the swagger to act like Richard Sherman. You need those kind of players on your defense occasionally, and the Chiefs were definitely lacking on those types on their current roster.

What the hell are you talking about? Very few players are Matt Leinart, where their play in the year before was good enough to vault them into the first round.

Snr wanted to pick peters, he's gonna bust

You got the 2nd best CB in a weak CB class. Not only that, he was dismissed from his program.

So, the 2nd best CB with character issues. Have fun with that.

He's a shutdown corner not some ****in interior olineman that can be had in the second to fourth rounds

Hoover 04-30-2015 10:47 PM

Nah, he's talented, and provides the Chiefs with something the desperately needed - attitude.

We've had Dale Carter before...

As a Chiefs fan, one could only hope he has that type of career.

If Gadzooks thinks that Peters is a backup CB, he should be afraid.

Our backups fist**** his team.

Enjoy your first round RB. He's kind of like Jamaal Charles only not nearly as good, and it remains to be seen if he can be the first Badger RB to be greater than the lift he received from his offensive line.

I'll enjoy the best CB in the draft who perfectly fits our coverage scheme. Make sure Rivers points his wife's vagina away from Marcus Peters' direction, or he might intercept the baby as it comes out of that clown car of a womb.
