Browns will be firing HC Rob Chudzinski

After 1 year wtf
|
This is why you continue to suck, Cleveland.
Also, quarterback. |
Okay, it's ****OFFICIAL**** the Chiefs are not like the Browns
|
This is the most ridiculous thing I"ve ever seen. The team is losing because of their QB, not because of their coach. This team could have competed for .500 with Hoying starting.

dumb Dumb DUMB

Was he hired before the sale of the team?
If so-there it is. New owner wants his people. |

Browns have gone 1-10 the last 11 games.

The lack of trust probably has a lot more to do with Banner putting everyone on the trade block than Chud. |

oh this makes perfect sense. the browns have been a great, and i mean GREAT team in the past few years. the reason they were bad this fluke season was the head coach. they'll be back to their dynasty-like ways next year i'm sure of it.
|
They are hoping to pry Todd Haley away from Pittsburgh.
|
That quote is probably from Weeden.
|
yawn.

THis is a silly move. You get that team at least a semi-average QB and a semi-average RB, and that's a good football team. Hard to imagine many coaches that would do well in those circumstances. |

Go get that D coordinator!

I wonder how this will affect that draft movie.

Lombardi what a douche
|
I don't know if he's been inept enough to get fired, but I have no problem canning a coach after a season. Hell, the Lions should have fired Schwartz the moment he suggested Gunther as his DC.
|
Mortensen made suggestions on ESPN this morning that if you're looking for a surprise firing, this would be it. Kind of surprised everyone else but he hinted that there were a lot of issues behind the scenes.
Hard to believe with a Belichick disciple running your team. |

Be interesting to see what happens to them. They have good coordinators in Norv and Ray Horton. They'll be in demand if they get let go.
|
I would think the coordinators would be hired elsewhere as coord and Horton apparently could be a HC candidate with Cleveland.

Josh McDaniels.....LOL.
Good god, how do you sell that to a desperate, angry fan base? Posted via Mobile Device |
I feel sorry for Brown fans.
And there is no way Schwartz keeps his job is there? |
If they wanted to do the best thing, hire Ray Horton.

lmao "He did not meet our expectations when we were clearly tanking this season. **** him, he's fired." There's a reason that the Browns are the Browns. |
McDaniels drafted Tebow to be "the man"... that should automatically disqualify him from any HC vacancy.
If they have any sense in their heads, they'll stay in-house with Horton. |
Quote:
Throughout the season, I sensed that the Browns were an underachieving team that would ripen to meet expectations in the near future, and Rod wasn't holding them back in a vast horizon. Stupid decision, an altogether Cleveland trademark. 8 HCs in [barely] 14 seasons. :thumb: |
The last 4 head coaching changes in the AFC North all belong to the Browns.
|
Take Sutton
|

McDaniels? ROFL ROFL Can Rich Kotite be reincarnated before he actually dies? |
Keep in mind its Patriot guys running the Browns right now
|
Quote:
that's WHAT I SAID. **** Haslam, **** Lombardi, **** banner. They whiffed so hard last year. Missed out on Bill Obrien, Chip Kelly, Lovie Smith, Ken Whisenhunt, and then paraded out Chud like he was THE KNIGHT. Then gave him shit. Blew the draft. Didn't properly address the qb position. Then fired Chud. BRILLIANT. A move that is going to cost them Ray Horton, Norv Turner, and any credible coach worth a damn. Oh, and by the way. Rumor is.,...... JOSH ****ING MCDANIELS will be he next coach of the Browns. Same, as it ever was. |
We wanted Ray Horton last year, if he gets let go from there?
Yes please |

I feel for the Browns, i really really do... if theres a team that's had it worse than KC the last twenty years, its Cleveland.
And now they've got a bunch of patriot ****sticks running things ... have people not learned this lesson yet? I wish them well, but the future does. NOT. look good right now. |
And Pioli couldn't even get a gig in Cleveland last year, now that's telling you something.

Then AZ decided to be rude and keep him until we'd hired Sutton. |

They ought to give that job to Ray Horton.
|
We should add an entry to the CP lexicon that says any head coach who gets fired should be brought in as one of our coordinators.
|
The players obviously dint respect him.
|
Apparently, he was told to cut a player a few weeks back and refused.

I bet you anything that Chud was fired this quick because they Browns are interested in Bill O'Brien. They saw Houston making their move...
|
So, yet more big surprises from the Browns, good move or bad?
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...farmer-new-gm/ I'm inclined to think it can only help to can those guys and start fresh, the only problem is that Haslam remains. |
