***OFFICIAL Go Pats!!! MNF Pats/Bills Thread***

For two glorious weeks the fans of Patriots Nation and Chiefs Nation are united in common causes -- the destruction of the Buffalo Bills on MNF tonight, and next Sunday Pats/Broncos game. I've never created an "official" thread on anything in CP history I don't think, and I couldn't resist the opportunity.

So grit your teeth if necessary and say it with me -- GO PATS!! :D

Patriots 9-0
Bills 5-4

At Foxboro

Amnorix 11-23-2015 10:26 AM

Seriously, if someone else wants to start a "home-grown" official MNF thread, that's cool. Hell, maybe there are rules about official threads, I wouldn't even know.

Amnorix 11-23-2015 10:28 AM

One thing to look for tonight -- team's getting away with holding. Two ref teams in the NFL have 40+ called holding penalties. Tonight's Gene Steratore's crew has less than half that. And if we know that, the coaches know that. And if the coaches know that, the OLines know it too...

I'm on board. Go Pats!

mdchiefsfan 11-23-2015 10:35 AM

As much as I want the Bills to lose, I just can't bring myself to cheer for the Patriots.

I understand the struggle can be real. I remember having to *gritteeth* root for the Jets, sorta, kinda, a year or two ago.

Maybe you can hope for a tie?

Or perhaps "root" for the Patriots to win by a score of 3-0, where Brady goes like 12 for 40 with 5 interceptions? Kind of a "they win, but Brady loses all MVP hopes" outcome...?

Algebraically, it still works the same if we all say, "STOP BILLS!", and we can cheer together. Correct?

The bills will be emotionally drained come next Sunday. Rex has them up for this game big time. They're going all out tonight.

When Asterix said two official crews have called 40+ holding calls, I knew without a doubt that Boger's crew qould be one of them. I don't know the name of the official in his crew that watches the O-line, but they call it a **** ton. Enough to where I can hear Boger's voice in my head calling the holding penalty over the mic.

New World Order 11-23-2015 04:12 PM

First time I have ever rooted for the Pats.

Prob will be the last time too.

No spinach dip and sour dough?

Misplaced_Chiefs_Fan 11-23-2015 07:35 PM

Pats got a strong rush right up the middle on 3rd and 5. That seems familiar to some Chiefs pressures we've been seeing lately.

tk13 11-23-2015 07:38 PM

LMAO At the "REX RYAN!" line of scrimmage call.

listopencil 11-23-2015 07:38 PM

"Rex Ryan" is a line call for Tom Brady. Apparently it means "run into the D-Linemen."

listopencil 11-23-2015 07:40 PM

Oh. "Rex Ryan" is a call to the O to play like crap for a while.

Dylan 11-23-2015 07:41 PM

Bills defensive line should handle the Pats o-line.

J.C. The Giants defense ranked 32nd against pass yards & 31st against the run yards in the NFL - and lost the game by one point vs. the Pats, the Bills defense should not have a problem

Buzz 11-23-2015 07:41 PM

Rambo plays for the Bills, we are screwed.

mdchiefsfan 11-23-2015 07:41 PM

Brady-ception!!!!

GloryDayz 11-23-2015 07:41 PM

LOL, that's a first. I'm sure they'll show each infraction "on tape", but not explain why it's not called evenly. It must be awesome when your QB is a legend.

Buzz 11-23-2015 07:51 PM

We may have an edge on special teams.

Don't hold your breath, saving that opinion for later in the game. Defense is good, QB is throwing on a rope, running game is suspect, so far.
