Need prayers for my sister in law.

Her appendix busted yesterday. I am seriously thinking heading down to KC.

Prayers sent. Those are no joke. I almost had mine burst a while ago but, luckily, it fixed itself and went back to normal after one long and painful day and night. Hope things turn out well.

Wow. Prayers sent my friend. Hope they get her all fixed up quickly.

Prayers sent. Mine burst two years ago next month. Weird thing is I didn't feel it so a week passed before I started feeling sick and went to the ER. If her experience is anything like mine then she has a lengthy hospital stay ahead of her loaded with round after round of antibiotics. I have a scar that runs from just above my belly button down about 6 inches. They didn't stitch or staple it up, instead choosing something called a "wet/dry" treatment where the wound is packed twice a day with damp gauze until it closes up. The whole experience isn't fun but it isn't the death sentence now that it was a few years ago either.

That's scary. Be strong and brave for your family. Prayers sent for your sis in law & family.

Done. All the best.

That being said, go. If you think you should, just go.

Luckily this is something they should be well equipped to handle. Hope everything goes well.

Even if it did rupture, most of the time it can be resolved without much complication, her recovery time will just be longer. This is one of the most common surgeries performed so she should be in good knowledgeable hands. Good luck to her.
