Jerome Kersey - Portland Trailblazer dead at 52

Though I have always been a Laker fan, I always admired his game. Damn shame and far too young. RIP

I read something the other day about Anthony mason being in critical condition with family and friends bedside. Congestive heart failure iirc. He's got to be even younger than kearsay

They should do the brain scan for him just like they do with football players.

Damn. Kevin Duckworth died a couple of years ago. The Blazers had some good teams back in the day that couldn't quite put it all together. They did play the Bulls pretty tough at times though.

What do you do? They should do a brainscan on you when you pass as well. I bet you will find that many people, way more than you think have CTE.

That's the point of doing the scan. If you are fine with ending at pure speculation that's fine, but I would like to see a comparison between sports based on test results, and then regular Joes as well.

I lived up there then and was a huge fan (still do follow them as my preferred NBA team). Kersey was probably my favorite on that team although Drexler and Porter were the top two guys.

He had surgery earlier in the week, I wonder if this is blood clot related or something.
